Jets beat writer Mark Cannizzaro talks Jets draft and Mike Tannenbaum and Scouting guru Joey Clinkscales their current situation and the fact that the Jets have gambled a bunch when it comes to the draft and their picks, leaving them with a quality over quantity approach the last few years however the labor strike has a lot of GM’s across the NFL on edge and the labor market has a strangle hold on the draft as whole. Tannenbaum,no doubt is looking to keep his picks and load up on some good young talent. Something the Jets haven’t done as of late.

“It’s nice to have six picks this year for a change,” Clinkscales said before adding, with a wry look to Tannenbaum, “We’ll see how long we have six picks.”
