Tim Graham of ESPN AFC east blog talks Plaxico and the teams looking into acquiring his services for the 2011 season. Plaxico is going to be targeting by many teams around the league. He will be pushed to the limit to test his athletic ability and conditioning. Plaixco can make or break his career in football. If he’s a changed man and learned from his mistakes and comes back to football a man rehabilitated then he could be a steal. However the flip side is he hasn’t learned and continues to spiral out of control rendering his football career finished.

The Jets are definitely going to survey and assess this situation.  If Plaxico can play at the ability he’s capable of and dedicates himself to football the Jets could get an amazing WR with incredible talent and a friendly price tag which would help drastically in signing the long list of Jets free agents.

Burress

Wide receiver Plaxico Burress is scheduled to be released from prison in less than four weeks, and Schefter writes circumstances could lead the Jets to bring Burress aboard.
