It’s been a long stretch for Jimmy and I know Jets fans are thrilled to have him back after fracturing his leg mid season last year. Although the Jets made the AFC championship game Jimmy was missed. He was missed in the secondary, he was missed by his teammates and now the doctors have cleared with to fully partake in all football activities.

The question remains. Has he lost some athleticism? , has he lost some explosion? We wish Jimmy all the best and looked forward to seeing him strap it up for gang green this season.

“This week was a definitely a huge breakthrough,” Leonhard said by phone tonight from his former high school, Flambeau High School in Wisconsin, where he is hosting his annual football camps. “I felt I could push as hard as I wanted to and not have setbacks.”

“I’m getting excited,” he added. “I want to play football and prove I’m back; prove I’ve done the work to get back.”
