It is Vital that the New York Jets get something worked out for David Harris. While many other big names on the Jets have lashed back at management in recent years, David Harris hasn’t put up any fuss. He took is franchise tag last year without a word. Harris is a lunch bucket kinda guy, put his faith in his agent to the business side handled while he continues to play football. Jets need to take care of this own players. Harris was drafted by the Jets 4 years ago and now it’s time to pay up to keep their young core.
“I love New York. If you’re a defensive player, you’d love to play for the Jets, too. There’s no coach other than Rex Ryan that I want to play for. He’s a lot of fun. I want to play there the rest of my career,” Harris said.
“I still think we’ll be able to work out a long-term deal.”
