Randy Moss Presents a different angle to the Jets wideout dept. Both Braylon Edwards and Santonio Holmes are going to be looking for top dollar. Although Braylon has said he’s willing to be flexible and negotiate because he really wants to be apart of the Jets. Holmes on the other hand will be looking to rake it in. There are going to be teams out there such as the Rams and Redskins who are going to throw money at Holmes and doing this ultimately drives up the price, in which at the time it might be to steep to keep both. However, Randy Moss is an interesting acquisition because he’s well…. RANDY MOSS and we all know how tremendous he can be as a deep vertical threat. He might be the best vertical threat we’ve ever seen in the NFL. However we all know about his off field/locker room mishaps.

The case for Moss is he’ll be inexpensive to sign leaving an abundant amount of money on the table to throw into the Santonio Holmes and Antonio Cromartie sweepstakes. Keep an eye on this one gang. Mike T and Rex Ryan are going to stop at nothing for a ring. Remember Rex has 2 years left on a promise he made to the Jets faithful of the Jets meeting Obama in 4 years since his start as head coach. 2 more years left Rex!

Moss’ agent, Joel Segal, announced that his client has been training twice-a-day all summer and spring and is in “freakish” shape heading into next season.

Segal claims that any team that signs Moss will get the “Old Randy Moss” and not the Moss that produced only 28 catches for 393 yards last season.
