Damien Woody has expressed his commitment to the New York jets. The twitter fan favorite for a lot of Jets fans including myself wants to be in New York with the Jets or retire. Woody has done a fantastic job protecting Mark Sanchez’s strong side. He’s been a solid player for the Jets and with a slow rising Ducasse and Brandon Moore might take some time coming back I think Woody’s value has sky rocketed with the Jets organization. We need Woody back in the fray.

“It’s either Gang Green or nobody,” Woody said today in an interview on ESPN New York 1050 Radio. “That’s the amount of respect I have for the jets, from (owner) Woody Johnson on down to Rex (Ryan), everybody in the locker room. It’s just a great situation for any player to be in, and I feel privileged to be part of the organization for three years. That’s where I stand right now.”
