Since the Jets have signed Plax he’s had this very quiet confidence and he’s been very confident he’d be able to pick up right where he left off. Of course comes the doubters and naysayers, life wouldn’t be the same without the haters and although there is plenty of football to be played and the jury is still out Plax is proving his haters otherwise. He played with that same quiet confidence Sunday night against the Bengals. Now that he seems to be ok from that slight ankle sprain Burress will JUST NOW begin to get heavy reps with Mark Sanchez in practice. Which is going to be scary for opposing defenses.
“It just feels like I never left,” Burress said. “To have that ball up there hanging in the air, with the lights and different things like that, I just trusted myself.”
