Who’s #51? Oh that’s Aaron Maybin. A once thought of bust, 11th overall pick from Penn State that’s trying to rid himself of the dreaded “bust” label. He had a stint with the Buffalo Bills who selected him with their 1st overall pick but things never seemed to pan out for the young talent. He dealt with some health issues as well that really didn’t help and I’m sure contributed to his lack of play with the Bills. He also lost some weight due to the health concern and banging in the trenches undersized from your counter-parts can be a daunting task.

However he’s a been given a second chance with the Jets and he hasn’t disappointed. He played extremely well during the preseason and the Jets released him, A lot of Jets fans were up in arms over the release. However the release was short lived. He was resigned and hasn’t disappointed thus far.With 2 sacks and 3 FF’s. He’s been playing great football as of late and people are starting to take notice.
