Hitman Harris was named AFC player of the week for his circus interception against the Bills. He also had 5 tackles and 2 QB hits. Harris has really been solid in the middle for the Jets.
More notably the Jets are no strangers to winning weekly and monthly honors.
It’s also the Jets defense’s third POW award this season and its second in the past three games. Antonio Cromartie won the title after his showing vs. Jacksonville in Game 2, and Darrelle Revis was similarly rewarded his Week 6 primetime effort against the Dolphins.
The league is starting to take notice.
