Thursday the Jets are traveling to Denver to take on the Broncos at Invesco Field at Mile High Stadium.
Recently, Tim Tebow has been able to use his legs and even his arm to win 3 out of his first 4 starting games at Quarterback. Last week against Kansas City we saw an impressive late game pass, granted it was only one of his (two for eight) that he completed, over the middle to the WR Eric Decker for a Touchdown combined with a Rushing TD. Lets hope the Jets are able to put a stop to the winning streak the Timbow machine has been on recently.
Regarding playing conditions and preparing for the game, WR Santonio Holmes commented that he is all about having fun when playing at Mile High City. His plans for the game are:
“Give it to those guys. Don’t give them any chance to make any plays. Shut them out if we can. Score about 60 points if possible. Keep these guys buried down in the ground as far as possible. I think that would jumpstart our offense and defense from this point on.”
60 points might be a bit much considering the Jets are putting up around 20 points on average per game, but we get the point Santonio. (pun intended).
