Less than 24 hours after an uneven winning performance, Darrelle Revis left little doubt that the Jets’ defense needs to get its act together to have a legitimate chance of making the playoffs for a third consecutive season. “Time is ticking,” Revissaid on Monday. “It’s (almost) December. You can’t be making these mistakes.” 

Revis and the defense played flat on all accounts. The defense wasn’t sharp. The pass rushed seem to flow through only Aaron Maybin and yes, Revis played badly. First time in maybe his career he played this poorly. However, Revis… known as a tireless worker will use this past game as motivation going down the stretch were he’ll see the likes of DeSean Jackson, Brandon Marshall and Dwayne Bowe. No easy task but we’ve seen enough from Revis to know he’s the real deal.
