Tim Tebow was officially introduced as a New York Jet on Monday afternoon at a press conference at the Jets practice facility in Florham Park, New Jersey. The session lasted about 30 minutes, with Tebow showing off his talent at handling the media. The newest Jet answered each question with ease. When asked why a backup QB was getting his own press conference, he stated, “The reason we are doing this today is because I have bosses, too. They wanted me to stand up and talk to all y’all. So I could blame it on them because they made me do it.” It remains to be seen how the Jets coaching staff will use the talented football player but one thing was certain, the smooth talking athlete is going to be the talk of the town, even though he will be the starting the season off as Mark Sanchez’s backup.
