What can we take away from the frustrating Jets loss to the New York Giants on Saturday, 26-3?
Well one thing is for sure, the Jets didn’t score very much and the Giants seemed to be capable of putting points on the board anytime they wanted to. However, there are a few bright spots that stuck out.

LaRon Landry is drinking Rex’s kool-aid and it seems to be working. Landry was built for a defense like Ryan’s and as long as that boy can stay healthy he will continue to put on a show for the rest of the team. LaRon’s “tackle” against Cruz over the middle was a monster, as well as intercepting Eli.

Lets hear it for Bart Scott by the way, he was looking like the Scott of old out there against the Giants. Filling holes and blowing up offensive linemen. That is exactly what we will need from him, and exactly what I predicted in my sportsbook review. It looks like he is ready to step it up this year!

Jumping over to the offensive side of the ball so many questions get raised right away. Where is this attitude coming from? No one seemed capable of making a play, in fact they looked down right terrified. Never was there a deep shot, an open breaking receiver, nothing.. Penalities and sacks is what the Jets O showed us they were capable of. I know it is only preseason, and thank GOD for that, because we are going to need a stellar playbook come regular season.
