Gang Green unloaded on the Buffalo Bills for a 48-28 season-opening win at MetLife Stadium Sunday, scoring the most points in a season-opener in team history. The Jets visited the end zone on offense, defense and special teams, turning their disappointing preseason into a distant memory.

Mark Sanchez showed that at least for one week, there is no quarterback controversy to see here, throwing three touchdown passes, including two to rookie wide receiver Stephen Hill and one to second-year wideout Jeremy Kerley, who also scored on a punt return. Tim Tebow lined up at tight end to start the game and saw some snaps, but managed just 11 rushing yards on five carries and did not attempt a pass.

The only bad news came in the second half, when the Jets pulled All-Pro cornerback Darrelle Revis out of the game with a “head injury.” His status remained unclear.
