Although the Jets sneaked out of Miami with a win on Sunday it came at a cost. The Jets lost elite cornerback Darrelle Revis for the year with an ACL tear.
It’s going to take this team collectively to work together to fill the void Revis left behind. Kyle Wilson has been deemed the starter to replace Darrelle per Rex Ryan press conference. Kyle will have to play well in his absence and Antonio Cromartie will need to step up his game and prove on the field he can be a shut down corner he talks about being.
Challenging times for the Jets ahead. Rex Ryan’s defense will be tested. Can the offense step up it’s play to take the pressure off the defense? only time will tell.
