Typically the strongest and most successful organizations are led from top management displaying excellent decision making and role-model behavior.
Then you have the New York Jets. It’s not to hard to see why the team continues to struggle on and off the field…
The NY Daily News is reporting Woody Johnson(yes the jets owner) answered a question this morning on Bloomberg TV where he was asked if he’d prefer a winning season by his Jets or a Romney win in the Presidential Election?
His answer…well it might surprise you.
“Well I think you always have to put your country first. So I think it’s very, very important that for – not only us – but in particular for our kids and Grandkids that this election come off with Mitt Romney and Ryan as president and vice president.”
WHAT! Did you really just say Woody, if you don’t mind me calling you that, you are more worried about who wins a stupid fu&*ing election than your own NFL team winning?
Why does this smell fishy? It almost seems like Woody might have some type of ulterior motive here..? Like for instance being the Chairman of Romney’s New York campaign?! Yup, Woody Johnson heads up Mitt Romney’s New York campaign.
Does it seem to anybody else that Johnson has just a little bit more invested in his political contributions that he does in his own dam team?
He was asked later about his teams embarrassing loss on Sunday:
“The coaches and I are not happy with what happened yesterday. And the players aren’t either,” said Johnson. “That performance is absolutely unacceptable.” Yup, we know that Woody but way to show you care.
