Congratulations to Palmeiro. He's always been one of my all-time favorite players as well as being just an all-around good guy. I think that he would have been a Hall of Famer even if he hadn't reached either the 500 HR mark or the 3000 hit mark, but having both just cements his place in Cooperstown. Congrats Palmeiro!

contrary to what you all think, he will get in. and so will barry. there is no way to draw the line right now. the testing is no where near perfect and you cant tell who has been taking them and who hasnt. there are a lot more people in MLB taking steroids that no one knows about. turn on espn when theyre talking about it. theyll have a writer that votes, on there, and he'll say the same thing. until theres an absolute way to find out who has been taking steroids, then you cant not vote a guy in, who everyone knows took steroids, because the guy next to him on the ballot could have been taking them. UNTIL THERE IS NFL QUALITY TESTING IN MLB, THERE WILL BE TWO THINGS HAPPENING.
