ganggreen2003 Icon : (Today, 11:11 PM) there seems to be a lot of traveling

Mr_Jet Icon : (Today, 11:20 PM) It wouldn't surprise me now if Miami blows them out in game 7.
santana Icon : (Today, 11:23 PM) you guys throwing a lot of blame around but ray allen did make a sick shot
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 11:23 PM) Yes he did
santana Icon : (Today, 11:24 PM) he sure did mike but can he stock away the cereal isle in record time
santana Icon : (Today, 11:24 PM) i think not
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 11:24 PM) Spurs blew it. I still think Miami got away with 2 no calls at the end tho
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 11:24 PM) LOL
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 11:25 PM) I needed that
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 11:25 PM) Alright ya'll, I figured it out. Karl Malone is LBJ's biological father. He's got the exact same build (the only two guys in the last 30 years in the NBA with that combo size/speed), he's got the exact same hair line and they both gave you one good quarter per game in the Finals.
santana Icon : (Today, 11:27 PM) you sir are onto something... stockton could be the birdman's biological father
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 11:28 PM) No. Stockton is way too classy to raise a dude that once he got paid abandoned his moms and had like 4 strippers living off of him. Then he got kicked out of the league and "got his life back together". Andersen is a total scumbag
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 11:29 PM) Now if Richard Sherman stocked shelves it would look like this http://preparednesspro.files.wordpress.com/2009/07/empty-grocery-shelves.jpg
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 11:29 PM) I read his story which was supposed to be an "over coming the odds" type a thing but it made me dislike him much more than I should
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 11:30 PM) Anderson is a punk bitch. but he can play some D
Mr_Jet Icon : (Today, 11:31 PM) Delonte West is LeBron's daddy.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 11:31 PM) Step daddy
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 11:32 PM) BTW, one day I texted my wife a picture of Delonte West and said "Worst case scenario, this is what our kid might look like"
Mr_Jet Icon : (Today, 11:32 PM) But if Duncan were in the game to get that rebound, Allen would have never even gotten that chance to shoot that shot.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 11:32 PM) So far so good
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 11:32 PM) Yea Pop outsmarted himself on that one and I think Duncan would hit the FTs if he were on the line
Mr_Jet Icon : (Today, 11:33 PM) Every black guy I know with light brown or blue eyes, has been a magnet.

Why the JEts will win.

1. First Home game!

2. Revenge taken out on the Phins for this week's embarassment.

3. Dolphins only won this week because they were at home in a huge crowd against a really bad Broncos team. The phins do still have a good run D but we should figure out this team's D by quarter number 2. Garunteed Martin gets 150 yards.

4. Pennington should pick apart the Phins secondary which isn't the greatest. As long as we catch and we fend off the pass rush we should be ok.

5. Vilma will shut up and play this week. His sophmore slump will end after only one game (if you can call it a slump).

6. Abe for the entire game.

7. Saban is overrated.
I changed my name, but I dont remember what it was... if anyone remembers please let me know.

You thought Vilma played bad against the Chiefs? He played better than any defender on the field and had 1 or 2 TFLs. If there were any setbacks its because Reed couldn't force a downblock on any of the linemen on the KC. And how do you figure Saban is overrated? Because he led his team to a blow out of a playoff team? And that Denver team is NOT bad, this team made the playoffs in the AFC last year.

You know, the last time the Jets had their home opener against the Dolphins in week 2 after coming off a loss was in 2003. The Jets lost bullshit.gif

I just hope that the fans can get them into it, and get us a win. I'm not too sure who will win, but whoever it is, they'll win big

28-10 will be the final, in either direction

I think it will be a close game as it usually is. Miami was not as bad as their record indicated last year.

OK first off the Broncos are not a really bad team. Miami made them look bad. For a few reasons. It was the first home game of the season. It was Nick Sabans coaching debut and the team had something to prove.

Second the D that Miami is running now is a mirror of NE's D with some better talent. And NY hasnt been able to "figure it out" in the past 5 years, how do you expect them to figure it out in a half? How many yards did Martin rush for against the Chiefs? Miami has a much better D then the Chiefs.

Pennington isnt going to be picking anything but his nose. He couldnt even hold on to the ball, let alone pick Miami apart. Chad's Rotator Cuff surgery is not healed yet, I wouldnt expect him to be anything close to what he was until mid season.

Kevin Mawae couldnt snap the ball in the same zip code as the QB last week. You guys better pray he doesnt do that again. If he does Jason Taylor might be scoring TDs all day.

Yeahhhhh. OK. How is Vilma's lip feeling?

Now the most asinine part of your post. Nick Saban overrated. You have to be kidding me. Talk about making an uneducated homer statement.

Nick Saban has NEVER had a losing season as a head coach. He has won EVERYWHERE he has been. If you had ever actually seen him in practices coaching you wouldnt make a statement like that regardless of what team you root for.

And lastly. Herm Edwards reminded me of some one last week.

Good luck guys. I think you are going to need it much more then the Fins are.

First off the Bronco's aren't really bad but their nothing to shake a stick at either.

Miami's D compared to N.E's D with better talent. Man take off those aqua goggles. You are definetly speaking from a fans perspective then someone who is thinking logically.

Talking about Mawae is just plain wrong and all this time I'm thinking that you are a football purist. You can honestly say the MR. Pro Bowl will have another game like that as long as he play's???. C'mon on now

Things happen it's football and besides it's week 1. If i were you I'd be worried. You guys get one win and your thinking big. Get your head out your ass.

Our guys have heart and we hate losing thats why we fought we strive to be the best and when we hit a wall the tempers flare. Oh don't worry you'll be seeing 51 all over the field. Especially that OLine will give Vilma all the room he needs to make your life a living hell.

Saban is a great coach I'll admit it. he's never "had" a losing season untill now. This is the NFL slappy not College.

I got to hand it to ya , your trying.

I hate the Dolphins, I hate their fans, I hate everything about them except for the city they play in (I hope to move there 1 day). There isn't 1 team I hate more than the Miami Dolphins, not even the Patriots. As you have noticed I am still alive after the Patriots have won 3 Superbowls. If it was the Dolphins that won 3 Superbowls I probably would have jumped of a building by now. This is a must win not only for the Jets, but for me. The all time series against the Dolphins is 40 wins, 38 losses, 1 tie. Keep that win column rising Gang Green!

I'm pretty sure this is true with all teams around the NFL it isn't some special skill the Jets have.

IMO without Ferguson up front Vilma will struggle a lot this year, he's already undersized to begin with. It was like last year when the Fins lost Tim Bowen and Larry Chester...the OLmen from the opposing team were getting to the next level without a problem and Zach was knocked on his ass the whole year. I'm pretty sure the scuffle between Vilma and Reed was cuz Vilma gave Reed some shit about the OLmen getting to him.

Vilma actually played relatively well against a pretty good KC line. Who knows what he can do when he's playing Miami's shitty ass line.

Well all I remember is when KC was on the 6 or 7 yard line and they ran the HB off LT, Vilma just gets blown out of the play and pushed out of bounds and he just stands there and watches Holmes reach for the goal line though his knee was down. They even pointed this play out on Monday Night Countdown, while the hell was Vilma just standing there.
