no. definitely not. then you'll get billed for the offer. cancel after 5 days, but before 7. make sure you don't pass their trial period, because if you do, you're stuck with that product and their charge on your card.
nah, man. i wouldn't do that to y'all. i've had my mother sign up on the site as well to get games for my little brother. i had done the thing for like a month before i brought it to you guys' attention. and the site where i learned about this has had the project going for like 8 months even before I started, with a lot of people doing it and having no problems.
the biggest issue people had was with ordering GH3, but that was because of the high demand. but no one's said anything yet about ghost charges on their statements, or identity theft. the people that run that site all seem to be on the up & up.
okay.
When you switch to a referral account, they give you a link that you give to people that want to sign up. that link is directly associated with your email and account, so when they register for the site, you know it. and when they complete 2 offers, you know it. it never tells you the person's name -- just the email address they signed up with.
after you get 2 people to complete 2 offers, you then have to complete 1 offer yourself, so that you can pick your game, accessory, whatever. The only difference is that after you complete your offer, your account is submitted for review, because the people who run the site want to make sure you didn't just use a different email address and register again under your own link with another card.
Now i'm not saying that's impossible -- just use a different address, and a different card, and preferably on another computer.
The 2 of you that signed up recently off of here set me up so that all I had to do was pick one offer. I selected Netflix, because since I got a PS3, I've been wanting to rent Blu-Ray flicks instead of paying $30 per movie. Only flaw with Netflix was that it takes like 3 weeks to receive the credit for it, because you got a become a paying customer for at least a month. But since I was gonna sign up anyway, it's 2 birds with 1 stone.
