SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 AM) You know what I do? Not go to the fuckin games LOL
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 AM) And it's not just me because the Mets suck, Yankees can't sell out anymore at all
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 AM) Shit, even Mets vs Yankees wasn't sold out
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 AM) That never happened in the 90s
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 AM) ghetto fries
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:05 AM) whats amusing is at nationals stadium the staff is the worst
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:05 AM) they don't give a shit
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:05 AM) specially sunday morning
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:06 AM) How so?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:06 AM) Do they make you watch the Nationals?
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:06 AM) every time they handed me my food or what not then i had to go to the register to pay i just walked away because the queue was too long
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:06 AM) people running the registers just go super slow
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:07 AM) no one there is in charge of making sure the customers are following the process
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:11 AM) Wait, you pay after you get your food?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:11 AM) How does that even work?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:11 AM) Everywhere you pay when you place your order
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:12 AM) well its decided getting some booze tomorrow afternoon and drinking every time i head lebron's head band referenced
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:12 AM) like i said the concession stands are a mess
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:12 AM) You might die
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:12 AM) there were multiple people behind the counter
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:13 AM) so you could just go up to it and ask for what you wanted and 1 out of the 5 people would be on a single register
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:13 AM) so eventually you were just handed your food
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:13 AM) expecting for someone to approach the register you were standing infront to charge you
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:13 AM) or you were led to believe maybe you had to go line up to the one that had a cashier with people already waiting on it
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:14 AM) so a lot of the times when i was just handed the food i requested i would stand there look around see them go back to being distracted on their boost mobile phones or whatever reason and walked away
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:14 AM) i got 6 pretzels like this for the group i was with and 3 hot dogs
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:15 AM) my ticket one time had like 5$ towards concessions or what not their scanner wasnt working at the register so it wasnt reading it right or she didnt know what she was doing. she tried to scan it 3 times then litterally just turned away so i was standing there asking if it was all good no one answered so i just walked away with the food
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:18 AM) probably doesn't help that they are hiring people from one of the worst parts of dc
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:19 AM) in fact all the stadiums in dc are in very low income areas probably to exploit this work force
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:31 AM) No stadiums are in low income areas because that's how they get municipal bonds to finance construction. "Look, we're giving black people jobs! Pay for our stadium!!!"
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:32 AM) right
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 01:48 PM) New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez will face a lawsuit for allegedly shooting a man after an altercation at a Miami strip club.

TMZ.com broke news of this stunning development, as the lawsuit was filed in Florida federal court on Wednesday—five days prior to authorities searching Hernandez's Massachusetts home for an apparently unrelated homicide case.
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 02:41 PM) A well-placed source told Paul Lukas, who writes Uni Watch for ESPN.com, that Revis paid safety Mark Barron $50,000 to get the No. 24 from the second-year safety.
Mr_Jet Icon : (Yesterday, 04:06 PM) I've watched about 3 minutes of ESPN today and have already heard the word "headband" twice.
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 04:13 PM) yea i'm going to get hammered
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 05:29 PM) that left side of japan is no joke
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 05:33 PM) damn that was so karate
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 05:45 PM) http://i.minus.com/iqVziQ4MnbBdg.gif
Chaos Icon : (Yesterday, 06:57 PM) James Gandolfini passed away
Chaos Icon : (Yesterday, 06:58 PM) he was 51, suspected heart attack
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 07:01 PM) I guess that means no soprano movie
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:14 PM) he was also a JETS fan
Mr_Jet Icon : (Yesterday, 07:46 PM) That's a surprising death but him dying of a heart attack is not a surprise.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:53 PM) Anyone had him in the pool?
santana Icon : (Today, 12:16 AM) nope

About The GM;

Terry Bradway never achieved greatness at Kansas City. He had worked for eight years in the Chiefs' front office, three as their director of player personnel. He was promoted to that post after spending five years as the Chiefs' director of college scouting. He also worked for seven years as a scout with the New York Giants and three years as assistant director of player personnel for the Philadelphia/Baltimore Stars of the old USFL.

Rod Graves, Terry Bradway and Billy Kuharich, who shared an apartment, had been hired by general manager Carl Peterson to find players to help the USFL compete with the NFL.

Graves is the Arizona Cardinals' vice president of football operations. The organizations record under Graves is as follows; (1999 6-10), (2000 3-13), (2001 7-9), (2002 5-11) (2003 4-12) and (2004 2-14).

Kuharich would orchestrate the drafting of Ricky Williams at New Orleans. If you all recall, they traded Washington for Ricky Williams for all six of Saints’ picks that year (1-12, 3-71, 4-107, 5-144, 6-179 and 7-218) plus 1st and 3rd-round choices in 2000 that became the 2nd and 64th overall.

Bradway is with the Jets the same guy who gave up 2 first round picks in 2003 for Dewayne Robertson. He could have picked the following TWO players that year... Troy Polamalu SS, Willis McGahee RB, Jordon Gross OT, and Terrance Newman CB. TWO!

He traded a #2 pick in 2004 to an AFC rival Tennessee for Justin McCareins WR., Julius Jones RB was available and so was Igor Oleshansky DT, Tatum Bell RB and Nate Kaeding K.

He gave up a #1 pick in 2005 for TE Doug Jolley to another AFC team …Oakland. The team that dashed our playoff hopes 2 out of 4 years.

He keeps keep trading to AFC rivals......WHY? What about the NFC. Especially Oakland?

About the Coach:

I have always criticized the Herman Edwards' hiring because he lacks certain things a coach needs in order to build a great football team.

1) He had no prior head coaching experience; no offensive or defensive coordinator experience at any level. He was a Defensive Backs Coach from 1996-2000 for Tampa Bay and a defensive backs coach and a scout for the Kansas City Chiefs for six seasons (1990-95).

2) In 1999, he interviewed for a head coaching job in Kansas City he was quoted as saying "A lot of guys have been successful who're not coordinators," Edwards said. "Some guys have talked to me about it, but I prefer the situation I'm in now. I don't have to call plays. I want to run it; that's the situation I'm looking for." source St. Petersburg Times, published January 20, 1999

3) He prefers the 'group hug" approach to coaching and allows his coordinators to make their own decisions. The only problem is because he lacks experience, he does not know how to correct mistakes. This has plagued him each and every year. Who can forget the 6-10 year with Mo Lewis and Marvin Jones using "walkers" to tackle opposing running backs. Meanwhile Paul Hackett was throwing 2-3 yard passes on 3rd and 9. He clearly lacked leadership over his people. Santana Moss returned punts for 2 years before he was utilized in the offense.

4) Clock Management issues cost them 6 games at least in his 4 years. He still has not learned this portion of the game and continue to make the same clock management mistakes. He had problems again last week against Carolina. Who could forget calling a time out before the half and then running 40 seconds off the clock with a running play to Curtis Martin to finish the half. He risked injury to Martin and other players. For what.. a 6 yard gain! His clock management has cost this team 1-2 games per year.

5) One might argue that he has taken a JETS team to the playoffs off and on for 3 years. This was basically the same team that went 12-3 and was one-half away from going to the Super bowl under another head coach.

6) In 2001, Herman went 10-6 and improved the Jets by 1 game from the then 9-7 Al Groh. (2002 9-7), (2003 6-10), (2004 10-6) and (2005 2-7 so far) . His record currently stands at 39-39.

When you said that the defense needed a change, we fired Ted Cottrell. When you said that your offense needed a change, we fired Paul Hackett. When you said you needed help with running the clock and time management, we hired a clock management coach. You said before you just want to run the team and being a coordinator isn't important...well... run the team! We cannot keep hiring people to cover for your your lack of knowledge of game-day management.

You even had the most accurate passer in the league 2 years ago in Chad Pennington and the leagues leading rusher last year in Curtis Martin. You should be lucky to have these players. Because you and Bradway would have never had them in the first place. You guys would have probably drafted more safeties!

You give a 2-5 team that is struggling in every facet of the game an entire week off! You hold light summer camps (shoulder pads & helmets), veterans are given way too much time off in practices and your camp never focuses on the basics of football. INJURIES are related to poor summer camps and winter training programs. Tackling is always an issue with your teams. Hit more at camp! Why are most of the injuries on Offense? You should be managing this issue! This team needs a leader...not a cheerleader! A coach for the player's... not a players' coach!

To The Owner,

Keep your options open for next season. There are plenty of good people in the league that can help this club win a championship. You should be looking for a coach that can prepare your players during the off season. You should be looking for a conservative GM who works with the cards that are dealt him.
