Jetsfan0099 Icon : (17 May 2013 - 04:53 PM) Sounds like it may not be as bad with Goodson. I could see him ending up with a 4 game suspension for possession, the gun charges probably going to the other guy.

Jetsfan115 Icon : (17 May 2013 - 05:49 PM) i'd order a steak from idzik but he'd just give me a hamburger and try to pass it off as steak and when i cought him in the act he'd gie me a million dollars to make up for it

but dHe's always had those little fluffy passes that me the Bany infant could catch with out being harmed at all. After his first surgery he threw nothing ucks...now what is he going to throw? And don't give S about his arm looking much better, I heard that garbage last year. Great, he's doing well in camp where he knows he wont get hit so theres no pressure. And that OL is as raw as it gets, 2 rookies at the most imortant positions who will have to overcome a major learning curve, then 2 old dudes who have been alright at best, Kendall was not Kendall last year and now hes a year older. And then Brandon Moore who played pretty average last year too. We're a few days away from the start and you will see what I'm talking about.

Yeah I saw what you were talking about. So did the Titans and the NFL for giving him the AFC player of the week honors.

Well he wasn't throwing ducks but he definitely didn't have a laser. But he did look good, can he do it this week though when the defense is more focused on the pass?

But.........I predicted that Nugget would miss an extra point cool2.gif

This league is about accuracy and making the right reads, which is Chad's game. A laser? There are plenty of QB's that couldn't make it in this league with a "laser arm". Did see Chad throw about a dozen passes in tight windows with plenty of zip. As far as a running game goes, the Blaylock experiment is over, I know that Barlow is a much better back then this board is giving him credit for! I expect 75+ yards out of him, keeping the Pats D honest.

definitely agree.
Can't wait to see Barlow get starter nods. as his comfort level increases, he'll be the starting back. I want him and Cedric to split time if anything. Blaylock is definitely the type of RB you put in when we're up by 3 TDs.

Wouldn't be surprised if Houston is activated for this game and Blaylock deactivated like Houston was last week!

Hey assbag, I've done nothing in the past week besides praise the Jets and Chad for the win (with of course the exception of constantly hating Nugget).

Strength of arm is far down the list of things to evaluate QB's by. The basic thing is to find the open man quickly and throw it to him accurately. If you can do that, your offense will move the ball, assuming you have a certain minimum arm strength.

There was some question if Pennington can achieve that minimum after the two surgeries-after all his arm was not the strongest to begin with. On the basis of the first game, he has achieved it.

As long as Pennington can achieve that minimum arm strength, he can be an effective QB.

Kyle Boller would succeed in this league if Arm Strength was a necessity.

Assbag?

Thats hilarious!... lol

http://www.urbandict...php?term=assbag

Here's a couple of assbag terms from that site:

1.) a complete asshole. someone who sucks really really bad and doesnt give 2 shits about other people

2.) What you call an asshole that is being more than an asshole.

I love that word... lol
