SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:03 AM) Baseball stadiums started doing this since right after 9/11
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:03 AM) I used to go to Mets games as a kid with a subway hero
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:04 AM) Now I gotta drop $30 for a burger with fries
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:04 AM) You know what I do? Not go to the fuckin games LOL
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:04 AM) And it's not just me because the Mets suck, Yankees can't sell out anymore at all
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:04 AM) Shit, even Mets vs Yankees wasn't sold out
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:04 AM) That never happened in the 90s
santana Icon : (Today, 12:04 AM) ghetto fries
santana Icon : (Today, 12:05 AM) whats amusing is at nationals stadium the staff is the worst
santana Icon : (Today, 12:05 AM) they don't give a shit
santana Icon : (Today, 12:05 AM) specially sunday morning
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:06 AM) How so?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:06 AM) Do they make you watch the Nationals?
santana Icon : (Today, 12:06 AM) every time they handed me my food or what not then i had to go to the register to pay i just walked away because the queue was too long
santana Icon : (Today, 12:06 AM) people running the registers just go super slow
santana Icon : (Today, 12:07 AM) no one there is in charge of making sure the customers are following the process
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:11 AM) Wait, you pay after you get your food?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:11 AM) How does that even work?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:11 AM) Everywhere you pay when you place your order
santana Icon : (Today, 12:12 AM) well its decided getting some booze tomorrow afternoon and drinking every time i head lebron's head band referenced
santana Icon : (Today, 12:12 AM) like i said the concession stands are a mess
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:12 AM) You might die
santana Icon : (Today, 12:12 AM) there were multiple people behind the counter
santana Icon : (Today, 12:13 AM) so you could just go up to it and ask for what you wanted and 1 out of the 5 people would be on a single register
santana Icon : (Today, 12:13 AM) so eventually you were just handed your food
santana Icon : (Today, 12:13 AM) expecting for someone to approach the register you were standing infront to charge you
santana Icon : (Today, 12:13 AM) or you were led to believe maybe you had to go line up to the one that had a cashier with people already waiting on it
santana Icon : (Today, 12:14 AM) so a lot of the times when i was just handed the food i requested i would stand there look around see them go back to being distracted on their boost mobile phones or whatever reason and walked away
santana Icon : (Today, 12:14 AM) i got 6 pretzels like this for the group i was with and 3 hot dogs
santana Icon : (Today, 12:15 AM) my ticket one time had like 5$ towards concessions or what not their scanner wasnt working at the register so it wasnt reading it right or she didnt know what she was doing. she tried to scan it 3 times then litterally just turned away so i was standing there asking if it was all good no one answered so i just walked away with the food
santana Icon : (Today, 12:18 AM) probably doesn't help that they are hiring people from one of the worst parts of dc
santana Icon : (Today, 12:19 AM) in fact all the stadiums in dc are in very low income areas probably to exploit this work force
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:31 AM) No stadiums are in low income areas because that's how they get municipal bonds to finance construction. "Look, we're giving black people jobs! Pay for our stadium!!!"
santana Icon : (Today, 12:32 AM) right

We should really think about trading A-Rod. We haven't won since he has been here. He is a distraction to the team by all the sh!t he says to the media. He doesn't show up in big games and sucks at feilding. I would trade him for a decent 3rd baseman that wouldn't cause trouble and that can actually feild. Our offense is not that big of a problem like our defense. Gettin A-Rod out of NY would be good for him and the team.

hysterical.gif Homie are you seriuous? A-ROD will never be a MVP aslong as he is a Yankee. He makes way to many mistakes. I do agree he will get his first ring if he stays with the Yanks which I hope he doesn't.

Yeah because a player who hits walk off grand slams are not worth having. The Yankees need ARod this year IMO. Their pitching staff isn't great and they need the big offense to ensure they come out on top in games and losing ARod will mean giving up 40+ HRs and 120+ RBIs. It's early in the season those errors will no doubt reduce as he gets into the swing of the regular season more.

A-Rod is a bum. I don't give a sh!t about hitting a grand slam in the opening week of the season. We need to trade him for better pitching a better feilder at 3rd base. I don't know how many Yankees games you watch but he makes way to many errors that cost us runs. I don't care what he can do it the regular season because the post season is where it counts.

I watched the opener against Tampa and although he made that error in the 1st he bounced back to hit a critical HR. That error in the opener also was a bit harsh as it was a tricky catch and IMO it should have been the catcher going over to try make a play on the ball.
If the Yankees trade him they could miss out on the playoffs especially considering they have the Red Sox to contend with and an AL Central division which looks strong and IMO likely to win the wildcard with Detroit, Minnesota, Chicago and Cleveland in the division.

The Yankees do not need A-Rod. They have a good enough offense that they can compete with A-Rod by trading for better pitching a better 3rd basemen. I rather have a player that can step up in the playoffs then have a player that keeps on making errors and that does not show up in big games.

A-ROD MUST STAY!!! THAT'S PERIOD!!! So a down year is around 35 HRs, a .290 AVG, and around 115 RBIs??? That's a damn good year, better than any AL third bagger to me. He's hot right now, and if getting a 2 out, 9th inning walk off grand slam isn't clutch, tell me what is.

Dude...I have been watching Arod since ou were in Elementary school and for you to say he is a bum is just insane! He is arguably the best player in baseball and can finish his career as one of the best players of all time!

I remember when Bary Bonds struggled in the playoffs and then he finally got that monkey off his back not too long ago.

He has not shown up in the playoffs so far, fine, I will agree with that. But the Yanks need him and his bat. How can you sit there and say ARod is garbage, son you need to really think it over man!

I want you to seriously name me any player in the MLB you rather have at 3rd Base.

So before this season in the NFL Peyton Manning was a bum too I guess. LOL kids these days I tell you!

Yes A-Rod is one of the greatest player ever. But we need better pictching and better feilding that when trading A-Rod comes in. A-Rod has not been able to handle the pressur on being a Yankee and I don' think he ever will. The 3rd basemen I would rather have would be Eric Chavez, Miguel Carbera or Ryan Zimmerman. They are all better at3rd base defense then A-Rod They may not be as good as A-Rod but I have more faith in them during October. No, I never though Peyton was a bum because he carried the team by himself and I knew he would eventually step up, which I don't think A-Rod will ever be able to do in the playoffs as a Yankee. It is not always about who the most talented player or who hits the most home runs in the season it is about the better all around player. Like defense, offense and crunch time.

Exactly, this is why ARod wont be going anywhere. Our pitching is like anyone elses in the Majors...unknown for now, its fukin April. We cant honestly say whos pitching is better and have you looked at our farm system lately?! Our pitching will be fine. Oh and the thing about Yankee pressure....I think that Grand Slam he hit was what we all will remember as ARods turn around as a Yankee (Just like Giambi's slam in the rain). He is going to have his best season ever and we will think about that slam when he is holding the WS Trophy in his hands this Oct...mark my words.

I couldn't say it better. This is A-rod you are talking about! You obviously think that A-rod is a bum because he hasn't produced in big situations in past years. You also know nothing about the game. I am a yankee fan, but it is fans like you that give yankees fans a bad name with the whole A-rod sucks. If you were a Devil Rays fan and A-rod was on the team, would you be saying the same thing. No way. I grew up whe nthe Yanks sucked and I was hoping they would be in second or even third place. Give A-rod an f-in break. He is the 4 hitter on the (highest priced team) Yanks. There is absolutely no pressure involved with being that guy when everyone is bullshit on your every move. I admit that the media and fans have really gotten to him. This year you can see it is in eyes that he is out to prove something. He has that A-rod confidence like he had in the past with the RANGERS and MARINERS. He is amazing right now. Let's hope that mental block is gone and he takes the piano that he has been carrying around on his back off. I played college baseball and know what it is like when you are in a slump and you start 2nd guessing your gifted ability to hit. Once you second guess how good you are at the plate, you are absolute toast no matter how good an athlete you are. He takes the criticism and the b-s from the media and fans to heart for some reason. I believe that he will be MVP this year if he keeps his positive confidence up throughout the year.

And another thing Kobe, I was also a Lakers, Jets, and Yanks fan like you. Now I won't watch one NBA game because of the whole one on one no defense crap that goes on in that league. Watch college basketball if you like "real basketball". One of the main reasons for my boycott of the NBA was when 12 or so years ago the Lakers drafted a young punk from PA. He has single handed ruined my former love of the Lakers. I hate everything he does and cannot stand to watch a game he plays in. He is an arrogant, *beep*y, ball hog, who thinks the world revolves around his ass. I didn't particularly like Jordan either, but I at least respected him as a person. I don't respect Kobe one bit and would love to see what he says and does in the locker room. I guarantee he gets under his teammates skin each game and they lose respect for him kinda like TO in the NFL. Kobe= arrogant prick who can shoot and can run an NBA team into the ground. He loses the big man and guess what, nothing. WHy, because now he wants to play one on one against the whole opposing team? I say get rid of the NBA and play pay per view one on one, it is the same thing. People would pay to see Kobe vs. Nash, Dirk vs. Duncan.
