Ty Law to Start in Tennesse?

Dave Hutchinson (Hutch to the uninducted) reported today that he thinks that Ty Law is probably going to get the start when the Jets line up Sunday in Tennessee.

When asked this morning if he expected to start vs. the Titans, veteran CB Ty Law said, “There’s a pretty good chance.”

Law, who was signed last week, would replace rookie Dwight Lowery.

Coach Eric Mangini may fine the veteran but the move isn’t exactly a surprise. Lowery has been a human scoreboard this season. He has given up six touchdowns and a two-point conversion.

Last week, Law, fresh off his living room couch, played 57 plays of 75 plays vs. the Patriots.

[I j]ust came back from practice, [the reporters] actually got to see a few plays instead of stretching. Law received extensive playing time but I’m not allowed to say if he was in the starting lineup but take a guess.

Remember to start is to play the 1st play but it is all other plays that count. lowery should be getting coaching from Law all this week too so its all good.
