Washington completed the sweep of the Marlins today, giving them sole possession of first place!

How 'bout those Marlins, going from first to the cellar in one weekend. Congrats!

Swear to god I was about 2 seconds away from making this topic. Who would have predicted this in the beginning of the year yahoo.gif . Weve had so many injuries and we are still in first place. Ryan Church hit a bomb today. Things are looking great for our team.

We've also got Oakland and Seattle coming to town next week, so hopefully we can pad our lead a bit. biggrin.gif

If we take 5 out of 6 of these game we will be in good shape beacuse those last 2 series were huge for us. Lets hope that we keep this lead. Just imagine, Nationals in the playoffs yahoo.gif yahoo.gif

im actually happy to see the damn braves out of first for once, even though dont forget...you are still the expos lol.

This division is gonna have some excitement in the future, the last place team is 1.5 games out! This is making the season exciting, cant wait to see the outcome. Lets Go Mets!
