Yes definatly it's for people who have money and hardcore gamers to pay 600 dollars for the system. You could pay 400 for the core unit. 600 is for the preimum unit. Anyways it is expensive but it's just something I'm willing to shell out. The graphics look absolutly amazing and the games that are coming out are insane.

The reason why the preimum package is so expensive is becasue of what you get in it. It's not just a xbox and controllers, you get a remote for the DVD, H/D cables, a video game {60 dollar value} and the most important part is the hard drive. and some other little nic nacs. So actually it's not that bad a bit pricey but worth it in my opinion. The core unit is just your xbox without a hard drive or anything else. It's just like the one you have now.

my friend just got 360 and Madden isn't anything special (besides graphics)! No fantasy draft, no play challenging and i thought it would be better without madden and michaels comentating but the new announcer is the most annoying guy in the world! In addition, I would suggest Call of Duty 2 to everyone...that game is amazing!

Yes CALL OF DUTY is absolutly amazing. As for Madden I spend pretty much on my time online in madden. In Online madden you cannot challage or anything. Although there is no Mini Camp,Fantasy draft,Franchise mode, If you know how to play Madden and you've been playing the one for the regular Xbox then you have everything pertty much mastered. Like I said I play mostly on line so I'm not really effected by all the changes.

its 300 and 400 are the prices. also its sold out everywhere. my friend works at target and said some guy showed up there and offered 1500 bucks for anyons ticket and nobody took it. people were camping out for days.

Microsoft has reacted to claims that a considerable number of XBox 360 consoles were presenting with problems. As you can read below, a variety of sources suggested that the fault rate of the new console may be high and Microsoft has responded in two ways, with the usual PR rhetoric to begin with and with conviction and style just a few sentences later.

The initial Microsoft response, as expressed by Molly O'Donnell senior manager of global Xbox public relations, to the claims that a large number of X360s were reported as faulty stated It's a few reports of consoles here and there not working properly. It's below what you would expect with a consumer electronics instrument of this complexity.

The above response would offer little or no consolation to owners of faulty X360s but Microsoft realized that a large part of its consoles future success relies on the way each crisis is handled and the company has decided to act. O'Donnell urged anyone with a problematic XBox to call 1-800-4myXbox or go to the XBox website. If the problems can't be immediately resolved, Microsoft will send a courier box within a day and will pay to ship the console overnight to a repair center. Once it is fixed it will also overnight it back or ship a replacement. They'll be playing again in three to five days, O'Donnell said.

Microsoft has also updated its XBox 360 support page to include a few troubleshooters and reports on what each error code actually means so that XBox owners don't have to look around for other sources of information.

So Microsoft is not really acknowledging that there is a worrying problem but it will take care of it quickly and efficiently. That should make console owners feel better although they might reconsider the wisdom of spending 30 hours queuing outside a store.

i seen on the news some lady bought one and a guy followed her homr from the store and stole it.

also i know the 360 madden sucks. its cause EAsports sucks. has nothing to do with MS or the 360.

See, he finanlly can't take it that he was wrong about the 360. Did you happen to read Sdubb's post? I am guessing the answer to that is no. Another reason why I was right about the 360. ONLY BUY 360 for online, did you listen? No. 360 is no way gonna beat the PS3 in sales.

Hopefully, an Xbox 3 will never be made, since they sold this crap system.

it said madden was made for online only not the xbox so blame your beloved ea sports for that one. which is why i hate madden. my friend has it and i played it. its much more then that. if u seen oblivion youd know that. that game looks so awesome

If there is no challenges and no fantasy draft than I don't see why anything should be said about this Madden except that it sucks.  What's the point except for getting more money from people that already bought the regular XBox version?  F that.

I won't buy one before two things happen:

A)they put out a "must have it" game.  Of course, for me there are almost no must have games.  If Halo2 was as good as the first I would say three would be, but not anymore.  I don't know of anything that will come out that I want that much.  I was extremly dissapointed in the XBox, so they will really have to win me over.

B)The price gets cut way down.  Considering systems cost another $50-$100 everytime a new generation comes out I am starting ot think my video playing days are over.  It just isn't worth it to me to spend hundreds of dollars when I only buy a game or two a year and those cost fifty bucks each.


Maybe I will buy the Revolution.  The new Zelda looks amazing (in bold!) and there are the Resident Evils and that way I can still play some of the multi-system games I like...football (if I am desperate), SSX, couple others.

oblivion is a must have game. i'm waiting for that to come out. from what i here u won't be able to get one till aprilish

i'm watching G4TV and they said madden was the only disappointment for the 360, but i guess when you have the exclusive nfl license you don't have to try that hard.
