Chris Johnson signs 2 year deal - http://nyjetsfan.com...showtopic=38339
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 11:36 AM) Idk about the numbers, I read an article that said that the Jets offered a "attractive" deal to Johnson and that it was always a longshot that he would sign yesterday, but the Jets believe the deal is market value for him

The Jets put together a convincing package on Tuesday to him, on and off the field. Now it is up to him. - See more at: http://m.metro.us/ne...h.cFze6cx8.dpuf

Mr_Jet Icon : (Today, 02:35 PM) Kind of defeats the purpose of retiring a number.
Mr_Jet Icon : (Today, 02:39 PM) But I know he better not wear LaMont Jordan's number. Or I'll be pissed.

Per source, Chris Johnson's two-year deal has a base value of $8 million, with another $1 million available in incentives based on yardage.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 03:40 PM) He does a lot of things well, but isn't talented enough. Johnson has breakaway ability still and Ivory is man beast running the football
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 03:41 PM) We will get another WR in the draft. Even in round 2 you can get a starting WR
azjetfan Icon : (Today, 04:09 PM) I am still standing by my CB in the first round and WR in the second prediction

here's a list of the top 10 RB in the draft

RB:
1. Adrian Peterson, Oklahoma
2. Marshawn Lynch, Cal
3. Michael Bush, Louisville
4. Kenny Irons, Auburn
5. Kenneth Darby, Alabama
6. Darius Walker, Notre Dame
7. Lorenzo Booker, Florida St.
8. Garrett Wolfe, Northern Illinois
9. Selvin Young, Texas
10. Gary Russel, Minnesota
11.Tony Hunt, Penn State

This draft his super deep in talent...i would say seven of the backs in this draft have the ability to start in the league except darius walker..he's a bum...also look out for Lorenzo Booker from FSU....he was monster coming out of HS and has the sames skills as reggie bush and would have been just as good if not for the fact he played for FSU which is a shame because their o-lines are notoriously bad......

In his senior year of high school, Booker ran for an amazing 2878 yards and fifty touchdowns, and also had 16 receptions for 300 yards and three more touchdowns. He was widely regarded as the nation's top running back prospect...............that is ridiculous on any level and he is not small at 5'11'..............im hoping he slips to the 3rd or 4th round so we can steal him

Good call on Darius Walker. When I seen his name I was like WTF.gif then I read you're comment on him and just laughed. He's a scrub.

If Lynch is gone in the top 10 then I'll be ready to welcome Bush. Look at what S.F did with Gore. Gore had some injuries but they took a chance on him and look how that turned out. I'm big on Bush.

yea walker is going to have trouble making an NFL Europe roster i dont know what he's doing declaring IMO but a few people love him for some odd reason....but as long as we get a rb in the 1st day of the draft we should have someone who is at least going to be solid and we might just hit a homerun like the 49ers did...gore was the 1st pick of the 3rd round...this draft is that that deep too

Yeah but San Fran took Gore in the 3rd...and Gore was ten times the running back Michael Bush could ever hope to be. I don't think many people realize how good Gore was before he tore one knee...recovered...and than tore the other. Gore started ahead of Willis McGahee as a freshman. I Gore can stay healthy...Gore is going to be amaaaazing...

We dont need Booker, we have a RB that has Reggie Bush type moves, Leon Washington, if anything we draft a bigger back or just a balanced every down one like Lynch and Bush. I would take Michael Bush in round 2.

Oh lord...first Brad Smith...now this?

What's with you and college players who's game simply doesn't translate to the NFL? Wolfe is nothing more than a return man in the NFL...

yea i would prefer hunt and bush over booker any day if i were choosing someone to complement washington but booker has obvious talent that would cost us next to nothing........maybe a 5th or 6th round pick if that.........and from wat i hear bush is gone to the ravens in the 1st round which is a ridiculous reach and i dont see why we couldnt take both hunt and bush........they could both go in the 2nd day and hunt is a smasher while booker is a matchup nightmare.......................think about the possibility of having a reggie bush and westbrook in the same backfield........while we gave up second day picks for them its a win win b/c even if that doesnt happen we gave up nothing for them.....and tony hunt needs to be a jet

I am high on Michael Bush, I have been since last draft. I honestly dont believe he will fall to the second round. He is definitely a prime candidate for hype.

Why is no one mentioning Michael Pittman (Ohio State)?

Pittman is an underclassman and surpised alot of people by declaring for the draft......Its possible that he might be gone last first round if he has good work outs which i think is wayyyyy too high for him....i dont like him over tony hunt or kenny irons
