ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 PM) he's a completely weak-minded individual
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 PM) already back to doing what he did last season THROWING INT's
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 PM) sucks that Garrard retired but I'd rather suffer with Geno going through growing pains than keeping Sanchez under center in 2013
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:33 PM) haha gg03 throwing in the towel on sanch!
mgjetman Icon : (Yesterday, 01:37 PM) What a way to make sporrts center already, Mark......
mgjetman Icon : (Yesterday, 01:39 PM) Sanch owns the #1 blooper of all time with that butt fumble also and to make matters worse he threw it right to a friggin Pat...
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 01:53 PM) buttfumble on thanksgiving was the low point of his career
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 01:55 PM) Teammates talking shut about Sanchez
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:11 PM) In case you haven't heard, because why would anyone report on the Giants, Nicks is also holding out
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:11 PM) That makes both Cruz and Nicks.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:11 PM) But who cares, Sanchez threw 3 "interceptions"!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 02:59 PM) ?
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 02:59 PM) why would we give a f*** about the Giants?
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 03:04 PM) gg03 jimmies are riled
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 03:21 PM) You're not in NY. All the backpages are focused on Sanchez
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 03:21 PM) None of the NY media even mention Cruz or Nicks
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:40 PM) nicks isn't holding out. he's injured still and taking it easy. cruz is holding out. why it isn't a big ordeal IDK. it would be for us
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:02 PM) maybe because theyre not that far off.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:02 PM) Cruz wants to return back, they'll figure it out.
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:41 PM) 3 mil a year off or 30% less then cruz wants. tahst alot of money to be off
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:41 PM) cruz doens't want to leave NY cause teh extra money he'll get in endorsements plus he knows taht they can RFA him this year and then Franchise next year so he might not be able to get a LTD for 3 years
Mr_Jet Icon : (Yesterday, 05:21 PM) Clemens11/Tebow15 (soon to be Smith7) said if we had just drafted Crabtree and Nicks and kept Clemens, we'd be good.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) No, he can't be Smith7
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) his name is reserved for garbage QBs, we don't want Geno to be bad
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) He can be McElroy14
extmenace Icon : (Yesterday, 06:51 PM) we're taking bridgewater next year with the number 1 pick and treating geno like a jimmy clausen.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:53 PM) What makes Bridgewater better than Geno?
HurricaneJet32 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:12 PM) everything
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:56 PM) ^
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:16 PM) college players always get hyped up before the draft process, just wondering what makes him so much better.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:19 PM) Stronger arm, plays in a pro system, better throwing motion, better athlete
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:19 PM) there's probably nothing Geno does right now that's better than what Teddy does
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 10:25 PM) Wouldn't it be funny with Bridgewater ends up having the type of season Barkley had?
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) better athlete but never runs as well
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) stronger arm but rarely throws deep
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) I am trying to find this article, but Bridgewater had about the least amount of 40+ throws in college football
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:49 AM) I wouldn't surprise me if he wasn't viewed as highly next year. College players always get hyped up a year before the draft process. People change their opinions quickly.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 07:56 AM) I'll put a good amount of money that Bridgewater is still highly regarded coming out next year.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:00 AM) ok I found the chart
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:00 AM) Bridgewater had 0% of his passes go 40+ yards in college
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:02 AM) he could be, I'll wait though
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:02 AM) I doubt Smith will be as bad as Clausen anyways
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:03 AM) I remember watching Clausen in a NFL game and the guy couldn't even throw a spiral.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:03 AM) Geno has been impressing teammates with how well he can spin the ball and sling it.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 08:31 AM) I hope Geno turns out to be a f***ing monster

Do you win a ring for finishing in 3rd place in the AL East? I don't think so. In 2007, there'll be no ring for the yanks or Arod once again.

Mariano is nearing the end of a great career and the yank starters are so-so. As demonstrated last night, it don't matter if arod accounts for 4 runs if your pitching staff gets crushed. It will be interesting to see how karstens does today. Sox should win again. drinks.gif

Arod is a loser. good hitter but a loser. crown him the king of april baseball if you like, but what happens when it matters in September and October? he doesn't hit, makes errors and tries to cheat his way on base. I'm very glad that his deal to Boston was not allowed and so he went to NY. You guys like him? Enjoy him once again having great individual stats and choking again when it matters most for the team.

My theory is that if Boston takes 2 of 3 next weekend, then the Yankees are done. Don't care if its april or not. They look really bad. Especially when Rodriguez hits 2 hrs and they still can't win hahahaha good shit.

You yankee fans are really delusional. Your pitching sucks period. Starters, middle relief and "closer". Not good. Cashman has been making stupid deals for 4-5 yrs and those chickens are coming home to roost. Mariano spit the bit again last night. He's a Hall of Famer but its looking like there isn't a lot left in the tank. Joe Torre should have been moved to the front office after 2004. The yankees look sluggish as if they are sleep walking. They need a shake up. But as a Sox fan I'm happy to sit back and wach George do nothing as Rome burns. hysterical.gif

For a fan of a team that came back from a 3-0 hole, you sure are counting us out a little too soon dont you think?

Your right, our pitching sucks right now, but that still does not mean we cant turn it around. Call me dillusional...thats fine. I just think its WAY too early to count us out.

This is top 5 worst posts I've ever read from an otherwise good poster. Yanks are done in April? I guess you forgot that they suck in April every single year, just as they win the division every single year.

Just checking in on this thread. For the record its now May 20th and the yanks are sitting in 4th place 10.5 games out of the race. Not just that, but they continue to play like a bunch of bums. As a life long sox fan, I am shocked that Steinbrenner has not cleaned house. George must be getting soft in his old age because the old Steinbrenner would have been swinging the axe fast and furiously. The notion that Roger is gonna ride in a $28M white horse and save the day is hilarious.

iagree.gif He's only going to pitch once every 5 games for them and the way the rest of the Yankees are playing right now it isn't going to make much of a difference really. Rather than a 40+ pitcher, who is still very good, I will give him that, the Yankees need an injection of youth into their side.
Or perhaps it is time they let go of Torre and start from scratch with some new ideas rather than the tactics they have had for the last decade or so in Torre's awesome reign at the helm. With all great managers though there comes a time when there is nothing more you can do: the team know Torre's motivational methods like the back of their hands right now, making them less effective.
It is only May, but 10.5 games is a hell of a lot and by mid-June if the Yankees fail to gain any significant ground on the Sox they can literally say goodbye at any thoughts of an October appearance.

I agree, I mean that faux-calling for the ball is looked down upon even in HS baseball.
