Jets are doing jets related things also... THE KNICKS.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 AM) You know what I do? Not go to the fuckin games LOL
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 AM) And it's not just me because the Mets suck, Yankees can't sell out anymore at all
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 AM) Shit, even Mets vs Yankees wasn't sold out
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 AM) That never happened in the 90s
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 AM) ghetto fries
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:05 AM) whats amusing is at nationals stadium the staff is the worst
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:05 AM) they don't give a shit
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:05 AM) specially sunday morning
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:06 AM) How so?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:06 AM) Do they make you watch the Nationals?
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:06 AM) every time they handed me my food or what not then i had to go to the register to pay i just walked away because the queue was too long
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:06 AM) people running the registers just go super slow
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:07 AM) no one there is in charge of making sure the customers are following the process
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:11 AM) Wait, you pay after you get your food?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:11 AM) How does that even work?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:11 AM) Everywhere you pay when you place your order
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:12 AM) well its decided getting some booze tomorrow afternoon and drinking every time i head lebron's head band referenced
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:12 AM) like i said the concession stands are a mess
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:12 AM) You might die
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:12 AM) there were multiple people behind the counter
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:13 AM) so you could just go up to it and ask for what you wanted and 1 out of the 5 people would be on a single register
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:13 AM) so eventually you were just handed your food
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:13 AM) expecting for someone to approach the register you were standing infront to charge you
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:13 AM) or you were led to believe maybe you had to go line up to the one that had a cashier with people already waiting on it
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:14 AM) so a lot of the times when i was just handed the food i requested i would stand there look around see them go back to being distracted on their boost mobile phones or whatever reason and walked away
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:14 AM) i got 6 pretzels like this for the group i was with and 3 hot dogs
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:15 AM) my ticket one time had like 5$ towards concessions or what not their scanner wasnt working at the register so it wasnt reading it right or she didnt know what she was doing. she tried to scan it 3 times then litterally just turned away so i was standing there asking if it was all good no one answered so i just walked away with the food
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:18 AM) probably doesn't help that they are hiring people from one of the worst parts of dc
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:19 AM) in fact all the stadiums in dc are in very low income areas probably to exploit this work force
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:31 AM) No stadiums are in low income areas because that's how they get municipal bonds to finance construction. "Look, we're giving black people jobs! Pay for our stadium!!!"
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:32 AM) right
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 01:48 PM) New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez will face a lawsuit for allegedly shooting a man after an altercation at a Miami strip club.

TMZ.com broke news of this stunning development, as the lawsuit was filed in Florida federal court on Wednesday—five days prior to authorities searching Hernandez's Massachusetts home for an apparently unrelated homicide case.
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 02:41 PM) A well-placed source told Paul Lukas, who writes Uni Watch for ESPN.com, that Revis paid safety Mark Barron $50,000 to get the No. 24 from the second-year safety.
Mr_Jet Icon : (Yesterday, 04:06 PM) I've watched about 3 minutes of ESPN today and have already heard the word "headband" twice.
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 04:13 PM) yea i'm going to get hammered
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 05:29 PM) that left side of japan is no joke
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 05:33 PM) damn that was so karate
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 05:45 PM) http://i.minus.com/iqVziQ4MnbBdg.gif
Chaos Icon : (Yesterday, 06:57 PM) James Gandolfini passed away
Chaos Icon : (Yesterday, 06:58 PM) he was 51, suspected heart attack
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 07:01 PM) I guess that means no soprano movie
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:14 PM) he was also a JETS fan
Mr_Jet Icon : (Yesterday, 07:46 PM) That's a surprising death but him dying of a heart attack is not a surprise.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:53 PM) Anyone had him in the pool?
santana Icon : (Today, 12:16 AM) nope

Where re all the Mets fans? I can't believe so many of m fellow Jets fans are Yankees fans. (But then again it suprises me how many of my fellow Mets fans at the Mets board are Giants fans).

Actually back in the 1970s the Jets actually played at Shea Stadium and the Giants played at Yankee Stadium which is why I usually associate the Mets with Jets and Yankees with Giants.

I actually wore my whit Pennington Jersey today with my blue Mets cap. Everyone knows where my loyalties are.

I've ben a Mets fan since the days of Dave Kingman, George Foster, Neil Allen, Pat Zachry, Ellis Valentine and Hubie Brooks.

I been a Jets fan since the days of Ricard Todd, but my first vivid memories were when Ken O'Brien was QB. I remember being so upset when we lost the overtime game to Cleveland that we should've won and faced Denver and had we won that we would played the Giants in Superbowl. That would've been the perfect year for my, the Mets and Jets both winning it all. At last in 2005 it will become reality.

Jets and Yankees, loyal, and the only teams I'm a die hard fan of. Every time I go to a Yankee game, I always wear my Bernie jersey and my Jets hat, and if I were to go to a Jets game (I think they go to Green Bay in 06) I'd wear my Pennington jersey with a Yankees hat.
I've been a Yankee fan since The Brosios, Bernie, Mariano, O'Neil, Jeter, and Girardi years. I've been a Jets fan since the Mo and Marvin tandem, the Wayne and early C-Mart years, and the Vinny years.
Hey, just give me 15 years to make that sound credible. hysterical.gif

right here man. Jets/Mets til the dya i die....i showed up to jets camp with a pennington jersey and a black mets hat. lol, but they have been pissing me off, always lack the offense when we need it most. I didnt really expect the playoffs this year...i said from the beginning that i want them to contend this year, load up in 2006, and make the real push. So far it is looking like that is exactly what is gonna happen.

Also, remember what tom glavine said 2 years ago. He said he would love ot stay w/ the mets and finish his career, and he believes that 2006 is the season that we will make some noise in the MLB...so far he is right on track, too.

Lets Go Mets!

Mets and Jets. I know the association the two teams have and I talk about it all the time. (I'm 20). But thats not the reason I like both teams. I just always have, plain and simple. But I just never feel like talking about the MEts here, I stick to the Jets. Mets and Jets in '06! I believe it!

The Mets? No way, they'll choke down the stretch as usual. Either the Marlins, Phils or Astros. I'd put my money on Houston.

Oh man what a surprise! a Yankee fan saying the Mets will choke... listen jackass this MEts team has nothing to do with past Mets teams. All new players, new management and new attitude. Even if they don't make it it's not choking. This team wasn't supposed to be in it right now, so it cannot be choking. Also if they don't make it it wont be for any other reason then this year isnt the year. It will have nothing to do with past chokings. Have some respect for your rival teams, or at least class. Remember you ARE a Jets fan.

Well thank you fellow Jackass. But guess what, I'm not a Yankees fan. I am a Phillies fan.

Also, the Mets don't exactly have an easy road ahead. The Marlins, Braves and Cardinals are coming up. All on the road. If the Mets can finish atleast 6-4, I'll give them a chance.

HUGE Mets, Jets, Knicks fan here. I expected nothing more than an 84 win season for the Mets so being in contention now is more than I expected. I am actually paying attention to other teams in the race, something I haven't done since atleast 2000. It would be sweet for the Mets to make the playoffs.

Sorry, you sounded so much like so many yankee fans I know. sorry agian. but the fact remains. be classy. i dont think the mets will get it, but it's not a "choke" as you say since this is a .500 team at best when the season started. think about it though. Piazza, Cameron, Beltran, and doug (hard last name to spell) have done nothing with the bat for most the year or were injured. its a testimate to the pitching staff (sans the bullpen) and guys like Wright and Reyes that we're this far.

Yes we are, cuz most of us are too quick to jump on a 152-10 season lol

I bet I can ask every Yankees fan in the world, and 95% *beep*uld say there was a 100% chance we'd make the playoffs, its our nature

the ones ive dealt with all my life made me hate the yankees. not the team itself. i hate the yankee fans who get off on torturing us mets fans. i can take it now but back in the day used to go home crying b/c iu was made fun of for being a mets fan. of course it made me love the mets more and hate the yankees. well anyway just stay classy and I have no problem with you. stick to things like the mets wont make it b/c... and not the mets will choke opr the mets suck. thats just ignorant.
