Jets are doing jets related things also... THE KNICKS.
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:03 PM) we need to get rid of Sanchez
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 PM) he's a completely weak-minded individual
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 PM) already back to doing what he did last season THROWING INT's
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 PM) sucks that Garrard retired but I'd rather suffer with Geno going through growing pains than keeping Sanchez under center in 2013
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:33 PM) haha gg03 throwing in the towel on sanch!
mgjetman Icon : (Yesterday, 01:37 PM) What a way to make sporrts center already, Mark......
mgjetman Icon : (Yesterday, 01:39 PM) Sanch owns the #1 blooper of all time with that butt fumble also and to make matters worse he threw it right to a friggin Pat...
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 01:53 PM) buttfumble on thanksgiving was the low point of his career
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 01:55 PM) Teammates talking shut about Sanchez
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:11 PM) In case you haven't heard, because why would anyone report on the Giants, Nicks is also holding out
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:11 PM) That makes both Cruz and Nicks.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:11 PM) But who cares, Sanchez threw 3 "interceptions"!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 02:59 PM) ?
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 02:59 PM) why would we give a f*** about the Giants?
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 03:04 PM) gg03 jimmies are riled
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 03:21 PM) You're not in NY. All the backpages are focused on Sanchez
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 03:21 PM) None of the NY media even mention Cruz or Nicks
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:40 PM) nicks isn't holding out. he's injured still and taking it easy. cruz is holding out. why it isn't a big ordeal IDK. it would be for us
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:02 PM) maybe because theyre not that far off.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:02 PM) Cruz wants to return back, they'll figure it out.
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:41 PM) 3 mil a year off or 30% less then cruz wants. tahst alot of money to be off
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:41 PM) cruz doens't want to leave NY cause teh extra money he'll get in endorsements plus he knows taht they can RFA him this year and then Franchise next year so he might not be able to get a LTD for 3 years
Mr_Jet Icon : (Yesterday, 05:21 PM) Clemens11/Tebow15 (soon to be Smith7) said if we had just drafted Crabtree and Nicks and kept Clemens, we'd be good.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) No, he can't be Smith7
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) his name is reserved for garbage QBs, we don't want Geno to be bad
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) He can be McElroy14
extmenace Icon : (Yesterday, 06:51 PM) we're taking bridgewater next year with the number 1 pick and treating geno like a jimmy clausen.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:53 PM) What makes Bridgewater better than Geno?
HurricaneJet32 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:12 PM) everything
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:56 PM) ^
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:16 PM) college players always get hyped up before the draft process, just wondering what makes him so much better.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:19 PM) Stronger arm, plays in a pro system, better throwing motion, better athlete
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:19 PM) there's probably nothing Geno does right now that's better than what Teddy does
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 10:25 PM) Wouldn't it be funny with Bridgewater ends up having the type of season Barkley had?
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) better athlete but never runs as well
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) stronger arm but rarely throws deep
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) I am trying to find this article, but Bridgewater had about the least amount of 40+ throws in college football
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:49 AM) I wouldn't surprise me if he wasn't viewed as highly next year. College players always get hyped up a year before the draft process. People change their opinions quickly.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 07:56 AM) I'll put a good amount of money that Bridgewater is still highly regarded coming out next year.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:00 AM) ok I found the chart
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:00 AM) Bridgewater had 0% of his passes go 40+ yards in college
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:02 AM) he could be, I'll wait though
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:02 AM) I doubt Smith will be as bad as Clausen anyways
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:03 AM) I remember watching Clausen in a NFL game and the guy couldn't even throw a spiral.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:03 AM) Geno has been impressing teammates with how well he can spin the ball and sling it.

Great 8: Yankees Capture Another Title

BOSTON -- Randy Johnson was brought to New York to help deliver the Yankees' first World Series championship since 2000. He took a step in the right direction on Saturday, leading the Yanks to an 8-4 win over the Red Sox at Fenway Park.
The win, combined with the Indians' loss to the White Sox, locked up the Yankees' eighth consecutive American League East title.

Not bad for a team that was 11-19 and nine games out of first place just 30 games into the season.

The Yankees won't know their Division Series opponent until Sunday -- or Monday -- as the Red Sox and Indians continue to battle for the Wild Card.

The Big Unit allowed three runs on five hits in 7 1/3 innings, striking out eight batters. Johnson earned his 17th win of the season, improving to 5-0 against the Red Sox.

The Yankees, who had a .157 batting average against knuckleballer Tim Wakefield this season, scored seven runs on seven hits in five innings against the veteran, who was pitching on three days' rest.

New York struck for three runs in the first inning, two on Gary Sheffield's 34th home run of the season. Boston answered back with a monster shot of its own, as Manny Ramirez crushed an 0-2 fastball from Johnson out of the park, cutting the lead to 3-2.

The Yankees added two more in the second, using a Tino Martinez single, a Bernie Williams double and a pair of sacrifice flies by John Flaherty and Derek Jeter to boost the lead back to three runs.

Matsui drilled a solo shot to dead center field in the third on an 0-2 pitch from Wakefield, making it a four-run game. Alex Rodriguez added a solo homer, his 48th, in the fifth, also mashing an 0-2 Wakefield pitch.

Johnson loaded the bases after walking Johnny Damon with two outs in the second, but he struck out Edgar Renteria with a 94 mph fastball, stranding all three runners.

The left-hander settled in after the second, allowing two hits over his next four innings, striking out the side in the sixth. Tony Graffanino, who had three of Boston's five hits against Johnson, launched a solo homer in the seventh, but Johnson got the next two batters to maintain a 7-3 lead.

Up 8-3 after seven, Johnson got the first out in the eighth, retiring David Ortiz on his 123rd pitch of the day. Tom Gordon replaced Johnson, promptly allowing Ramirez's second homer of the game, but the reliever got the next two batters to move the game to the ninth.

Mariano Rivera closed out the win in a non-save situation, slamming the door with a scoreless ninth.

lets use this momentum to keep on rolling right through the World Series!! yahoo.gif drinks.gif
