my first is, what did we end up doing with Stanton, I know we dessignated him for assignment, and if I understand right, that means we have 10 days to trade or release him, what did we end up doing, It's gotta be like the 8th or 9th day so far???
And also, why haven't these guys we got for Quantrall played yet, their Starting Pitchers, and since Pavanos on the DL(along with Brown and Wright), we have 3 SPs and like 3or4 days rest unless we have an all-bullpen game again, how come they haven't come in yet
I also think that a bigger concern right now other than CF or anywhere like that is to get a few more Releivers, because anyway you look at it, our OF isn't in that much trouble, this new kid Cabrera, hes like 2-4 with 2 Runs and no K's so far as a Yankee, we also have Ruben who can play LF if Hedeki plays CF, and many other options, but even though we have an ok bullpen, Mo, gordon, and a few other guys are the only one that we "know" how they can play, everyone else have been recently promoted--
If u know the answers to my questions, let me know, and tell me your input on the rest

Yankees: May's day is Saturday

The Yankees purchased the contract of left-hander Darrell May on Friday and will start him Saturday against the Indians. He is starting in place of Carl Pavano, who is on the disabled list with a sore shoulder. The Bronx Bombers acquired May last weekend from the Padres but sent him to Triple-A Columbus.

May likely isn't going to receive enough starts before Pavano gets back to be of any use to fantasy teams. However, he is worth tracking to see how well he fares in the American League because he may be the team's choice to enter the rotation if another starter goes down later in the season.

May isn't bad. He is a Lefty. He did bad with SD but he often does good. He could last longer then Sturtze. These are his career stats.

I like the move to start May. Sturtze couldn't give Torre 6innings on his last start. He's been giving up the long ball a lot. I want to see aaron Smalls come up at least get one shot in the majors. They talk about him so much and no appearance to the Bronx yet. I hope May gives us a good outing. We're chiping away at the sox. Only 3.5 game back.

I would like to see what Small can do too. I think they where going to pitch him if May didn't a have a good outing in AAA.
