That they got a GW Grand Slam. That game was a fluke.
The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim will get beat by the Yanks.

the grand slam was luck? thats probably one of the funniest things ive ever read. Vladimir guererro still has a whole lot to prove, he hit 290 homeruns...but i agree, most of those homeruns were lucky. Youve got to be kidding me, you guys are really starting to irritate me.

Whatever, Angels fan. The Yankees will get their revenge.

lol calm down, hes a Mets fan, and it wasn't a fluke, they outplayed us, I'm not saying we can't beat them, but when you put in 2 releavers that record 0 outs and load the bases, you have other things to worry about
The saddest part for the rest of the season is, Every game is going to need to be
Starter for 6
Sturtz for 7th
Gordan for 8th
Mo for 9th
Thats the only way in my eyes.....the only other possable thing besides a trade is for that once Pavano comes back to have our roto be Randy-Moose-Leiter-Brown-Smalls
and send Pavano to the bullpen, as hard as it'd be to do, its the smartest thing, that way when we have a game that these young guys like Proctor, Groom or whoever start doing bad, we can send Pavano in to give us 2 or maybe even three strong innings
but it wasn't a fluke, it was bad pitching and hopefully we can get 10 runs tonight to have a safe cushion and get a good 7 innings from the SP and hope Gordan and/or sturtz can handle their innning, cuz we all know Mo can handle his
Hopefully, CHI will either split or get 3outta4 vs the Sox, cuz then were in the drivers seat, even though were not in first, the Yankees honestly do controll their own destiny or fate or whatever the word is I'm looking for

The angels didn't get lucky. But gordon was not ready too come in. We need more bullpen help. Like maynard said we can't keep on putting Sturtz for 7th, Gordan for 8th and Mo for 9th, we going to kill them. We need to find some RP somewhere. Alan Embree and Shingo Takatsu are out there.

yanks have had the worst pitching staff i have ever seen. i am a yanks fan to the heart...but george needs to stop spending money on pitchers that did good in the NL. we need quality pitchers from the AL next year. any way how many different pitchers have we used this year? since we dont have any help from our minor leagues, we need to trade some of our vets for some pitching talent..NOW!

True. Pavano, johnson, and wright have been not what we hoped. ( I saw this comeing with wright. He just sucks, the only reason he was good was because he pitched in altanta and almost every pitcher does good there) Too bad the good SP in our system is in A. ( hughes)
