after playing it for several hours last night here are my thoughts.

1) the graphics are amazing. espicially on my friends 42" widescreen plasma TV
2) the gameplay sucks. u don't feel like you really have control over the players
3) no vision cone?
4) finally the ball has some zip on it and the physics are better
5) why can't u change the camera view or challange.

there are alot of issues in this game but this is the only i played like that

quake 4 was awesome, perfect dark 0 was awesome, and so was fifa.

and even after hours of playing the controller felt great. its the best controller i've ever felt.

The best thing to do with any next gen system is to buy it when it hits the 2007 time.

I am talking about the hell with Madden 2006 on 360, you mind as well wait for Madden 2007 to come out when it's on all the other next gen systems.

if i but a 360 i will NOT buy madden06 for it. i'll just play the xboxmadden06. i'll wait till the madden07

I myself do not have the system as of yet but I was also at a friends house and I played Madden and call of duty. I agree that the graphics are just amazing but I also agree that the gameplay sucks. I'm purposly not going to play maddenxbox06 becasue the buttons yet again have been severily altered and I had a hard time getting used to the button config on the 360 version. Besides I found it buggy and glitchy and it was apparently obvious to the naked eye that it had some serious flaws. Yes the camera view options or lack there of where a definate disappointment. The only reason I will subject myself to such trash is because I do not want to be in a position that when 07 is released I will have to take so much damn time getting used to the rearrangement of the damn button config. There are other things to that bothered me but I really don't feel like typing forever.

Call of duty is sweet also and singleplayer mode is insane BUUUUT. When it comes to online play it's garbage. I'm not sure if y'all played halo 2 and any tom clancy games on xboxlive but the system for those game are awesome. You can go into and make/host your own rooms and have team battles and clan matches but with call of duty once you go online it's like one big server and everybody just goes to war which might sound good but when you don't have any options to play with your buddies and make your own teams and so on it's to boring and way to repetative which takes away from the games luster of singleplayer mode.

BOTTOM LINE: I think as a consumer and have paid countless money on this system they cheated their clients. The 360 by it's self is an amazing unit but when it comes to game selection and the way they were made I feel as the consumer i've been "hoodwinked". They have the wirless remotes which needs chargers that are sold separately amongst other items that a person needs to run this system that will all be additional costs to get the maximum comfortability with the system. Maybe in the next year to come possibly around 07 time I won't feel like this once they have issued more of a variety but as a first time buyer I would feel ripped off but thank god my girlfriend is getting mine for me.
