So I said OK come get me nad bring me to the court house. (they are required in AZ to do so if requested). Needless to say I was excused.

Hey guys,

Today at the phillies game, we went on the field to meet the players. Since we were late, there was only 2 more minutes of them being on the field. However, I met Ryan Howard and Jimmy Rollins. They could'nt sign autographs because there was a lot of people there but I shook there hands. Okay we go up in the upperdeck to our seats. Than at around 3:45, It starts to pour & Lightning. We go down in the shelter of the stadium for about 1 hour. Than I walked around the field level by the dugouts. I went down by the Phillies dugout and stood there for about 1 hour waiting for autographs. We waited and waited but nobody came over. We saw Brett Myers, Abraham Nunez, Charlie Manual, Aaron Rowand, and Jon Lieber, Chris Coste, J-Roll and Carlos Ruiz. I was with a bunch of kids cramped in the small area in the dugout, calling our favorite players names for about an hour. Aaron Rowand was talking to Manuel and a yelled out his name real loud. He looked up at me, I waved, and he waved back. It was pretty cool. But he never came back. Then it started to pour. We went up beneath the roof for another 15 minutes. Then it was announced that the game was rained out. Sitting there with my Aaron Rowand shirt on, I was soaked head to toe. It was worth it though. They said it was re scheduled for septtember 2. Since we are on vacation on the date, we exchange our tickets for next Saturdays game against the Marlins. Atleast I met J-Roll and Howard. But I'm just looking forward to next week. Sorry on waisting all the board space with my phillies topics.

This is were were sitting next week.

DUDE THAT'S AWESOME!!! Stink to hear you got late, but at least you met their 2 best players (including Howard, my favorite). Hopefully the weather holds up better next time and glad you liked it!!! But remember, just call them Mr. Rollins, not Jimmy, and they'll stick to you like flies on trash, I learned that at Jets camp last year. yes.gif But still, glad you liked it!!! drinks.gif
On August 10 when the Yanks come here to Chi Town to face the Sox, I might be able to go on the field and meet the Yanks. We get to go in where the umps go in and our seats are right behind the Yanks dugout, I'm totally pumped.

Sounds like it was great, too bad it rained

Dude I can't wait until labor day when the Mets go to Houston. I usually get to go to games at Shea during the summer but not this year.

Minute Maid Park is a nice stadium. I never been there, but It looks so cool on TV. I like the train HR celebration.

Yeah thats why I'm a Phillie fan because they are'nt the Yankees. And everyone is a Yankees fan and all the Yankees care about is money, or winning big games to get money.

You cant say everyone is a Yankees fan because there are tons of Yankee haters like yourself. I like to call them mets fans and blowsox fans.

Instead of laughing at my jokes you should be keeping an eye on your "all-star" third baseman

Hes coming out of his slump he went 2 for 5 with an RBI last night. Also were winning games in a GOOD division playing GOOD teams something the mets cant do.

If you use Yankee logic like that, then instead of the Mets being 20 games over .500, they woulde probably 20 games under .500 right? Give me a break, Yankmee fans need to come up with a better excuse than that

I'm sorry but a 12 game lead isn't luck, where as you guys miraculously passing the Bosox or an AL Central team in the Wild Card is lucky. Especially with a softie playing 3rd

Are you kiddin me. Passing the bosox is not a miracle we've been doing it for the past 8 years and we've also had the best winning percentage after the all-star break. What's lucky is the fact you get to play all these shitty teams in your division. You guys dont know what it means to compete thats why your gonna get owned in the playoffs.

The yankees are only 2 1/2 in the divison and 1/2 in the WC. There have a great shot of making the playoffs.
