Im just making one beacsue this team is continuing to impress me day in and day out. 10 in a row is amazing for a team that has a payroll of 48 mil (23rd in league), has no owner, and players as good as the yankees.
So any thoughts on the Nats just put right here.

Well I think I told you earlier in this season that Washington was not that bad, and look at them now they are one of the better teams in the National League. They have won 10 straight, they are a good team, the thing wondering me now is, can they keep it going?

I've got to say, hats off to the Washington Nationals. A 12-1 homestand and a 10 game winning streak. If they finish above .500, then I think that Frank Robinson should win manager of the year, hands down. To take a team with a $40 million payroll as far as they've come is just amazing. Bowden should win executive of the year, no matter how the team finishes.
If they actually make the playoffs, which could happen, then it may be the best story we've had in baseball in a while. And yes, I'm tired of seeing the Braves win it every year, but at the rate they're going, I don't think that the other 4 teams are going to have to worry about them too much.
And maybe, just maybe, if the Nats make the playoffs, the games will actually make it past the TV blackouts.

i gained much respect after the whole pinetar thing with the angels... mike socia(sp?) is a jerk, and jose guillen did his thing by not only getting mad but jacking a two run shot... the angels looked like jackasses when they accused the nats pitcher of having a string or whatever and nothing illegal was found... the whole situation was kind of amusing but much respect to the ants... not a typo... i think...
<<<Don't know how to update this thing...

I have the MLB extra innings and when Guillen hit that I went nuts, because you know that Jose wanted that homerun bad and he got it. Things are looking good so far. Hope it keeps going
O and Ryan Drese had a great game

I would to take this oppurtunity to note how the Mets manhandled the Nats and took 3 out of a 4 game series...

I would like to report the mets are still 9 back from the division leaders

Unfortunately, we're not going to continue to be in first if they keep playing the way that they have the past two weeks, or so. They lost a lot of ground over those two weeks and really need to pick things up. Seriously, they have to beat the teams they're supposed to beat, and the schedule is filled with those teams the rest of the month: Brewers, Rockies, and the Astros.
Also, July 26-31 will be crucial, as the Nats have back-to-back series against the Braves and the Marlins.
