Who Should Start Opening Day

Nobody know's. There will be an open competition but I think now that Chad is entering the offseason healthy he has all the time to get stronger and improve technique for next season. We could see the old 2002 Chad at full strength next season. As opposed to him rehabbing his arm he can actually build solid tissue's and really get stronger. I'm actually looking forward to him throwing next year just to see the improvement but I will expect Kellen to really challange Chad now that he has a full year under his belt.

I agreed but also expecting Kellen to come in at midseason.

To early to say who should start, since I havent seen Clemens do anything yet like Training camp. A better question is who will start? I think Pennington will start, but should Idk, I have no clue how far Clemens will come around from now and the beginning of the season.

as Sdubb pointed out this will be Chads first off season without having to re-hab in several years
I for one am VERY excited at that prospect .. it will be nice to see him come back healthy and rested and not involved in some out of control quarterback controversy

As far as I am concerned Chad Pennington should be our QB for as long as he plays NFL football. He has shown more determination, heart, and work ethic than anyone I have EVER sen, not ever seen in football or sports, but ever seen period. Most guys after just ONE rotator cuff surgery would have retired. Chad not only had TWO surgeries, came back, led Jets to playoffs and won comeback player of the year. In my opnion when Chad does retire one day he will surpass the great Joe Namath as the best QB in Jets history. This is a guy who not only works so hard but is the most upstanding person you will ever meet, you will neve read that Chad did steroids or drugs or cheated on his wife or groped woman. I think Jets fans especially should be more appreciative of Chad.

Chad is an admirable and indominatable person and deserves the credit . those qualities should not be underestimated when evaluating him either .

Firstly you can't use cash as part of a trade in the NFL.
Also no way the Bears trade Urlacher.
Finally, Zabransky had a good Fiesta Bowl but some of his throws were awful and he should have thrown at least 3 INTs in the game.
