For those who missed it..heres a very nice piece from SNY about Revis and his upbringing...its great to see him and his family's reaction when he is picked, Tannenbaum didnt even call him before hand so he is totally suprised...he seems to be a true class act from what i've seen..

Seems like a really great guy. I'm really happy to have him on our squad, hopefully he'll play great and be a Jet for the next 8-10 years!

Man wow!!.. It's so hard to fine really genuinely good people these days. This guy is very special!! I don't know what it is about him but he's going to be a great player in this league I can feel it.

He did actually. There have been a few celebs to make note of this. Most sports figures can't be role models but to say that they can't in general is absurd.

Yup I was.. I hated the notion of picking one BUT!!!! like I said before anything. I believe in Mannenbaum to make the right decisions. This is seeming like it was the right decision. This guy is really a good guy and a great player up till this point. If I had known more about Revis prior to him getting drafted I probably would have had a different point of view on him.
But this is real nice for us fans to draft a guy of his potential and he is going to be a great fit here. The fan base has embraced him 10 fold. Things are looking up.
