Darius Butler
5'10"- 185 lbs.
CB - Senior
UConn

Butler is a solid all around corner with good awareness, speed, and coverage skills. He is better in zone than in man, but that has more to do with the cushion he allows during breaks than his ability to turn and run...as he has the hips and acceleration to play man coverage...so maybe with better coaching than UConn can offer he can excel in man as well. Butler is a great CB, but is also one of the Huskies top receiver's and punt and kick returners.

Butler injured his knee 2 weeks ago and will be out for another 4 weeks or so. Hopefully this doesn't affect his draft stock too much...as long as he's able to fully participate in offseason workouts. He is probably a 2nd - 4th round pick depending on his recovery from the injury and his combine workouts.
