@DWAZ73 : One other thing: Idzik now has landed arguably No. 1 QB, RB and WR in free agency this offseason despite deliberate approach. #Jets
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 02:41 PM) The title race is real
Chaos Icon : (Yesterday, 02:42 PM) Jordan...what number was he? it was 30sometihng
Chaos Icon : (Yesterday, 02:43 PM) tanaka had a great game today. gave up 2 hits due to bunts. 10K
Mr_Jet Icon : (Yesterday, 02:48 PM) Jordan was #34 with the Jets.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:03 PM) Tanaka is looking like a stud
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:04 PM) Jets added Vick, Chris Johnson, and Eric Decker to the offense.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:04 PM) FIRE IDZIK
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:04 PM) And this draft is loaded at the offensive skill positions
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:04 PM) Hopefully we can get anohter starting WR and starting TE in the draft
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:05 PM) Our offense could be much better than last year
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:05 PM) can't get much worse than what it's been the last 2 years
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 03:22 PM) Very cool
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:24 PM) FIRE IDZIK
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:32 PM) still need another WR
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:33 PM) so i bet powell barely gets any touches this year and goodson gets cut
azjetfan Icon : (Yesterday, 03:34 PM) Goodson is as good as gone.
azjetfan Icon : (Yesterday, 03:34 PM) With all his legal issues and coming off injury he is done. Possibly even in the NFL
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:39 PM) Powell is average anyways.
Chaos Icon : (Yesterday, 03:39 PM) @ProFootballTalk 5m

Per source, Chris Johnson's two-year deal has a base value of $8 million, with another $1 million available in incentives based on yardage.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:40 PM) He does a lot of things well, but isn't talented enough. Johnson has breakaway ability still and Ivory is man beast running the football
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:41 PM) We will get another WR in the draft. Even in round 2 you can get a starting WR
azjetfan Icon : (Yesterday, 04:09 PM) I am still standing by my CB in the first round and WR in the second prediction
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 05:19 PM) The title race is bale
azjetfan Icon : (Yesterday, 05:34 PM) Sidney rice coming in for a visit
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 05:49 PM) I think the Jets are getting themselves ready to draft best player available
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 05:49 PM) Last year they stuck to their board
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:27 PM) if they sign him I think that means they look to take a CB round 1
2JBallar01 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:32 PM) “@AdamSchefter: RB Chris Johnson's 2-year deal with Jets has a team option in it for year two. Jets have option to pick up year two at $4M in February 2015.”
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:51 PM) @AlbertBreer 2m
Sidney Rice has agreed to terms with the Seahawks on a one-year deal, per source.

Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:55 PM) There is really only 2 CBs worth taking at 18
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:56 PM) I rather get a offensive playmaker
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:58 PM) LaMont Jordan was 34
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:59 PM) liar
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:05 PM) He wore #34 when he played for the JETS

not a fan, especially in the first round. reminds me of David Barrett a little, doesn't have the ideal measurables, but is a ballhawk.

this guy is all over the place in mock drafts but CB is a deep position this year and if he standouts during the senior bowl he could become the number 1 CB in the draft................the top 5 corner backs in this draft seem interchangeable at this point its not until the senior bowl and the combine that people will separate from the pack
You Dont Run On the JETS. Vilma Will KIll YOU

Horrible mock. Packers have just signed Ahmad Green and Morency is a decent back. I doubt they draft a back especially high and us picking a corner in the first round is just dumb. Scott usually puts out good mocks but this one is WAY off.

Who ever passes up Calvin Johnson is making a huge mistake. I bet you that he will be the 1st overall pick, and he will be the best WR in football when its all said and done!

Horrible mock though. But it is early so of coarse the mocks are going to reall suck right now. If we are in that postion, then I would draft Patrick Willis, ILB. That would be sick with him and Vilma in the middle. You guys may say its not a need, but our run defense did suck, and he would be a great talent left on the board if the draft went like that, where the good defensive linemen are already gone. Then we would have tons of good depth. Barton would have to take a pay cut though.

I wouldn't be surprised if Oakland take Russell as he has a huge arm and they already have two pretty good receivers in Moss and Porter. If the Raiders can grab a QB that isn't mediocre and can get those two the ball they will become happy in Oakland and that offense might just click with Jordan at RB too.

I'm surprised they have Brennan as high as #17 though although the Jags should be looking at taking a QB and I'd be surprised if Pit*beep* falls to #23. Why would Tangini pick an overrated guy too, they are probably the most thorough GM/HC combo in the league so I doubt they reach for someone in the 1st.
If the draft did go like that I'd look at taking Jarvis Moss or Willis.

Yea I love how that guy wrote how he thinks that CB will fall to round 2 or 3, but he has us taking him? That had to be a dumb statement that guy made on draftcountdown. I wouldnt be suprised also that Oakland takes Russell, I also wouldnt be suprised if the Raiders trade the first overall. Thats what I meant when I said Calvin goes 1st overall, doesnt have to be the Raiders. Calvin Johnson is a rare prospect, he is the best player on the board, period. Its not a question about how athletic and talented he is.

Russel can stand at the opposite 30 and hit the endzone. Huge arm and not bad accuracy. I think he'll do well in the pro's. Kind of reminds me of Culpepper. Good size, can run and has a huge arm. Although that comparison sucks for Russel but the similarities are there. I can't wait to see him perform at the next level.

Yea Russel had the high completion % out of the top 3 QBs in the draft, besides that Hawaii dude who had a %72 Russell had a 68%. The knock on Russell is that he is dumb, he doesnt read coverages that well. Atleast thats what I heard, but yea thats just like Culepepper who is also a dumb ass.

I also think he will translate to the pros and he is extremely fun to watch with his gun for an arm. I watched a fair few LSU games this year thanks to our American Sports Channel getting a lot of SEC games, which was awesome.
I hear what 0099 is saying about the Raiders probably trading down, possibly with the Bucs, although I don't know about that thinking about it seeing as the Gruden trade happened only a couple years ago but the Bucs need help at WR as Galloway is getting old and Clayton wasn't much of a factor this season.
