HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Today, 08:24 PM) He should just take whatever number they give him!
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Today, 08:30 PM) I don't hope he killed someone but that he's an accessory
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Today, 08:30 PM) I don't ever wish murder on anyone but I hope he gets found as being an accessory to a crime
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Today, 08:31 PM) which would mean he would probably not be active this season for the CHEATriots
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Today, 08:31 PM) anything that fucks the CHEATriots I'm all about it
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Today, 08:33 PM) I would prefer somebody be on a active roster than being an accessory to murder
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Today, 08:33 PM) I don't know maybe it's just me
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:35 PM) it sounds like you are glad someone was murdered if it makes the Patriots weaker.
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Today, 08:37 PM) I'd like to say that this is pretty appalling but the anonymous world of the Internet makes shit like this commonplace on this website
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Today, 08:39 PM) So we have people on this website that support children being shot in the head and other acts of murder
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Today, 08:39 PM) Your families must be so proud
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:40 PM) who supports children being shot in the head?

ganggreen2003 Icon : (Today, 10:31 PM) you guys really just took this and ran with it huh
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Today, 10:34 PM) All I said is that I am glad that this could affect the CHEATriots on the field, but by no means do I condone violence and shooting people in the head, just saying that if he's indisposed to that piece of shit organization I will be happy, it's still sad that someone had to lose their life and I don't think people should murder other people, but if he is shown to have had some part in a crime he deserves everything he should receive in regards to a crime
Mr_Jet Icon : (Today, 10:37 PM) And if he's innocent?
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Today, 10:39 PM) then he's innocent
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Today, 10:39 PM) nothing will happen and he will be on the field
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Today, 10:40 PM) unfortunately

Who could win with that defense?

Clark Judge, my collegue at CBS Sports.com, has a nice column about why he feels Jake Plummer was more valuable to the Denver Broncos than is Jay Cutler. He points out the won-loss records of the two quarterbacks. Plummer was 40-18 as a starter, while Cutler is 17-20.

But underneath Cutler's record lies a serious problem that nobody on offense could overcome, including the great John Elway. The past two seasons the Broncos have stunk on defense. Big time.

Combining the 2007 and 2008 seasons, only two teams have allowed more points than the Broncos. Denver gave up a combined 857 points in 2007 and 2008. The St. Louis Rams (903) and Detroit Lions (961) are the only teams worse. Those two have a two-year combined record of 12-52, while the Broncos were 15-17. That's because of Cutler.

Those defensive numbers are indicative of a team that should have won four games each of the past two seasons. Instead, the Broncos won seven and eight. Thank Cutler.

Jake Plummer played at Arizona State, so I will always have respect for him since that's my alma mater, but give me Cutler any day.

One more thing about the Cutler story. He's getting killed for being a big baby. And I do think he's overreacted to the news that he might be traded.

But I warn Denver fans that he doesn't come close to the biggest baby move in Denver quarterback history. Need I remind you that a certain Hall of Fame quarterback that led you to two Super Bowls told the Baltimore Colts where to stick it when they drafted him. He took his ball and his bat and glove and told the Cotls he was a baseball player and wouldn't play football.

Until they traded him to the Broncos. Baby move. Yet it happened in the era before the Internet, before talk radio. Elway's brazen move was far more of a cry-baby move than anything Cutler is doing.

Oops, I forgot. You can't bash Elway to Broncos fans. That's asking for an Orange Crush.

We have a better defense and offense. This is why we should trade for Cutler. I'm not saying give up the entire draft to get Cutler. But our 1st will go and and a 3rd. I'm all for it. To all who dislike Cutler, this article clears thing up. Been saying Cutler should be in green and white next year. Read it haters.

Cutler won't have to throw 50 times a game here. Thats why he would do better, he would be asked to throw maybe 30 times a game.

Exactly, people are blaming Cutler for not having been to the playoffs in any of his first three seasons, but he was playing with one of the league's worst defenses each year. Do whatever it takes to get him I say.

I don't think anyone was actually bashing JC, just don't want to give up the world for an above average QB, yes he made the pro bowl yes he's good but not for all those picks. I'd say 2nd and 3rd or 3rd and a conditional 2010 pick but we're not building this team around him with this year 1st rd pick. I trust tanny to do the right thing and get him w/o feeling any pain.

We do have a better running game, but in terms of receivers the Jets are inferior compared to the Broncos. Giving up all those picks will mean we will have less to use to upgrade at WR.
It would be great to have Cutler but I feel it will take too much to get him whilst the team has other important needs.

Leon coming out of the backfield to catch a pass makes up for it. So we're not inferior as you put it catching the ball.

He will be a winner in NY, he was successful with the Broncos, but the Broncos had a piss poor D backing him, so he was asked to air it out a bunch of times. Rex Ryan already made some improvements in the Jets Defense, if we get Jay Cutler, the Jets will give the Patriots and Dolphins a bigger run for their money, IMO. Just don't trade your entire draft for him, please.
