they only gave out regents in cali and NY, and cali i believe got rid of it, so now NY is the only one that still requires regents to receive a high school diploma

No, Florida does that too, you must pass a test before getting the diploma, lucky for me I passed.

florida does a different version, the regents are for different subjects, florida has a general test... the regents cover, biology, chemistry, a foreign language, math, blah blah blah
bunch of extra stuff that i think in the end was benefitial for a lot of kids but a hindernace to many as well... dang double edged swords

i have to take an earth science regent but thats it this year since im only in 8th grade .... most people take earth science next year in high school. 2 more days of classes then finals til the 23rd wen we have graduation

Thats a lot of hard work, all we have to do in Florida is pass Math, Reading, and Science.

I begin my hardest regents summer tomarrow-
-Spanish... multiple choice / writing essay
-Social... Multiple choice / Extended responce / 2 essays
-Math B... Multiple choice / Work out problems
-Chemistry... Multiple choice / Extended Responce
4 of em in 7 days, pheww, can't wait till their done, it'll take me 12hours to finish em all

I took the 1st part of the English Regents today and the Math A. I thought it was gonna be light but it was a little more difficult than I expected. I think I did alright though. I had problems staying awake during the English Regents though haha

i have my last final 2morrow (friday) than my last day is monday where i get my year book and get to see all the hot seniors!
