V DidDy 210 Icon : (02 May 2015 - 11:26 AM) so picking him up is great
Mr_Jet Icon : (02 May 2015 - 11:30 AM) I want to be the first person to say it. "Broadway Bryce"
V DidDy 210 Icon : (02 May 2015 - 11:30 AM) imagine being a jaguars super fan haha
Chadforpresi... Icon : (02 May 2015 - 11:37 AM) Damn Vikes got Clemmings, in round 4 he's worth it
santana Icon : (02 May 2015 - 12:28 PM) Can we get a post with the selections
azjetfan Icon : (02 May 2015 - 12:40 PM) It's tough to do with iPad but I'll get one started
azjetfan Icon : (02 May 2015 - 01:01 PM) Jay Ajayi ?
azjetfan Icon : (02 May 2015 - 01:02 PM) Maybe a Tyrus Thompson?
azjetfan Icon : (02 May 2015 - 01:22 PM) Phi a took Ajaji
Smedsthejet Icon : (02 May 2015 - 01:33 PM) Some depth on the line with the Harrison pick
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (02 May 2015 - 01:43 PM) I read the scouting report for Harrison, the scout said he has probowl talent but has a work ethic concern.
santana Icon : (02 May 2015 - 03:10 PM) Who the hell is Bryce petty
azjetfan Icon : (02 May 2015 - 03:20 PM) Tom Pettys brother
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (02 May 2015 - 03:22 PM) Jets should take Collins with one of their 7th rounders if there
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (02 May 2015 - 03:22 PM) He has more upside for a 7th rounder than anyone else
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (02 May 2015 - 03:22 PM) He can start right away at RT
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (02 May 2015 - 03:29 PM) He said he won't sign
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (02 May 2015 - 03:32 PM) so he doesn't want to be drafted?
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (02 May 2015 - 03:33 PM) If Collins doesn't get drafted, he can't enter next years draft. He can only if he is drafted and sits out. So I guess he has to go undrafted
V DidDy 210 Icon : (02 May 2015 - 03:41 PM) going undrafted makes the most sense for collins
V DidDy 210 Icon : (02 May 2015 - 03:41 PM) but for teams, drafting him and dealing with his holdout makes more sense
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (02 May 2015 - 04:19 PM) Zac Stacy was traded to us for our 7th
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (02 May 2015 - 04:21 PM) Jets also drafted a NT with our other 7th
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (02 May 2015 - 04:21 PM) 6'4 330 DL who is very strong
V DidDy 210 Icon : (02 May 2015 - 04:25 PM) zac stacy for a 7th
V DidDy 210 Icon : (02 May 2015 - 04:25 PM) well can't complain about that
MikeGangGree... Icon : (02 May 2015 - 04:29 PM) So we have 4 rbs now
V DidDy 210 Icon : (02 May 2015 - 04:31 PM) still would have rather taken a runner on collins but i can't complain with depth
V DidDy 210 Icon : (02 May 2015 - 04:32 PM) i mean they can't expect to carry 4 rb though no?
azjetfan Icon : (02 May 2015 - 05:50 PM) Collins would have been a waste. He would not have signed. At least we have something to show for our pick. Worst case scenario is we trade or release one of our backs.
azjetfan Icon : (02 May 2015 - 05:56 PM) I know it's hard to tell without seeing a win loss record yet but this regime seems really on point.
azjetfan Icon : (02 May 2015 - 05:56 PM) For the first time in my life I can say I feel comfortable with the people making the decisions.
azjetfan Icon : (02 May 2015 - 05:57 PM) I was close with Parcells but he seemed like a short term fixer and didn't care about the long term
MikeGangGree... Icon : (02 May 2015 - 06:57 PM) SUCK FOR THE DUCK
MikeGangGree... Icon : (02 May 2015 - 06:57 PM) .......oh wait
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 01:13 AM) Well that was a disappointment
Chadforpresi... Icon : (Yesterday, 01:24 AM) I like getting Stacy for our 7th rounder, assuming he can handle the fact he won't be a feature back (yikes)
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:31 AM) I like the trade, hes a quality back and adds more depth to our backfield
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:32 AM) Macc has pretty much killed it this offseason
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:32 AM) He has turned this roster around, he has added talent and competition all over.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:33 AM) We still aren't great at QB, but our overall football team is good. We have a realistic shot at making a playoff run
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:33 AM) We may have the best defense in football. We have a great DL and secondary, that is gonna be tough on offenses when you can stop the run, pressure the QB, and blanket the receivers
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:23 PM) ok now it's time for this team to take all this talent and do something anything below a 10-6 season will be a disappointment
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:24 PM) the only still glaring issue is QB
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:25 PM) we got the WR problem solved, we got probably one of the best Defenses in the game and we have addressed the OL but QB will still be the glaring issue

This initial projection is based on what I've identified as key need areas for each team.

There are 16 underclassmen among my projections for the first 32 picks of the 2007 NFL draft, including two of the top three. LSU junior quarterback JaMarcuss Russell gets the nod as the first overall pick, and North Carolina State defensive tackle Tank Tyler rounds out my first-round projections as the No. 32 overall selection to Indianapolis.

5. Arizona Cardinals: *Jamaal Anderson, DE, Arkansas
6. Washington Redskins: *Alan Branch, DT, Michigan
7. Minnesota Vikings: Gaines Adams, DE, Clemson
8. Houston Texans: *Adrian Peterson, RB, Oklahoma
9. Miami Dolphins: *Ted Ginn, Jr., WR, Ohio St.

12. Buffalo Bills: Leon Hall, CB, Michigan
13. St. Louis Rams: *Charles Johnson, DE, Georgia
14. Carolina Panthers: Levi Brown, OT, Penn St.
15. Pittsburgh Steelers: *Jarvis Moss, DE, Florida
16. Green Bay Packers: *Marshawn Lynch, RB, California
17. Jacksonville Jaguars: *Sidney Rice, WR, South Carolina
18. Cincinnati Bengals: Amobi Okoye, DT, Louisville
19. Tennessee Titans: *Dwayne Jarrett, WR, USC
20. New York Giants: *Lawrence Timmons, LB, Florida St.
21. Denver Broncos: Adam Carriker, DE, Nebraska
22. Dallas Cowboys: *Robert Meachem, WR, Tennessee
23. Kansas City Chiefs: Tony Ugoh, OT, Arkansas
24. New England Patriots (from Seattle): *Darrelle Revis, CB, Pittsburgh
crazy.gif 25. New York Jets: Dwayne Bowe, WR, LSU
26. Philadelphia Eagles: Aaron Ross, CB, Texas
27. New Orleans Saints: Daymeion Hughes, CB, California
28. New England Patriots: *Anthony Gonzalez, WR, Ohio St.
29. Baltimore Ravens: Anthony Spencer, DE, Purdue
30. San Diego Chargers: Patrick Willis, LB, Mississippi
31. Chicago Bears: *Greg Olsen, TE, Miami (Fla)
32. Indianapolis Colts: Tank Tyler, DT, NC St.

I don't know why they have us taking a wr in the first round I don't get it.

Thanks for the Memories

why would any team especially the jets draft a WR in the first round knowing that we have two very good revicers and the best this guy could possibly be would be a number 3 reciever? I dont get that one. Although alot of these mock drafts are god awful....im starting to want more and more to just trade it for turner....and if we dont trade it we better be working on our D. WR is our last need....

That pick would make no sense at all.

There are a few things I have realized about Mr. Jet over a few topics.

1) He is a racist. By constantly using race as a battling tool.
2) He is an extreme Liberal. If you are on either extreme you are probabaly more wrong than right.
3) He is one of those people who will never admit fault, error or defeat.
4)His life sucks and he takes it out on people who don't share in his views.

Turner isn't worth trading a first round pick for simply because he hasn't ever handled the load and there will be RBs available in the draft who have shown they can handle at least 15 carries a game over a season, albeit a 12 game one and a guy like Michael Bush or Tony Hunt will probably be available in the 2nd or later.

I dont understand why you guys keep saying that no one knows if michael turner can carry the load. In college he rushed for 310 times for 1648 yards which is about 5.3 yards per carry in 03'.... 310 carries is alot for college. He just hasnt done it in the NFL becuase he is behind the ultimate playmaker. When u have LT you use him when ever you can thus limiting the amount of carries turner has gotten in his nfl carrer. I mean im kinda flip flopping over the idea of trying to aquire turner for our 1st but i think this guy can handle the load and defintly be more then servicable with with leon getting some time in to play as well.

Obviously we won't pick a Wr first round but Scott Wright over at NFLdraftcountdown, has been raving about this guy. Every day he says Bowe has been by far the best guy out there. So I can see him being drafted in that area just not by us.

You are correct. The FIRST THREE seasons of his career the dude absolutly sucked and couldnt catch a cold.

BUT after his junior year he got his eyes checked out and it seems that he was LEGALLY BLIND haha crazy.gif . dude saw 3 footballs commin at him at once is what he said. So he had laser eye surgery and his senior year he become mr. clutch at catching the ball and Jamarcus Russels fav target. So yea i cant tell u how many td's this guy dropped his first three years but when your blind kinda hard to catch what u cant see.

Wayne Chrebet told my hs football coach that you catch the ball with your eyes, your hands just secure it.

But yea this guy has some pretty nice hands now that he can see.

It's sad that you think of some of the "Draft experts" on TV and we have a guy like Hurricane whose best resort is posting here.

Actually I wouldnt be suprised or upset if we drafted him there. Sure we have other needs, but he can be a pretty good WR. Most likely McCariens is going to be let go, so we need another WR eventually this offseason. Coles said he feels like he can only play like 3 more years, which would be good if we drafted him because it takes 3 years for us to develope WRs. Look at all of the WRs we drafted recentely, they all had breakout seasons in their 3rd season, Moss, Cotchery, Coles. So if we did draft this guy it would make sense, he is a big presences, big physical WR, which fits the Jets WRs since we been having some physical WRs in our history. He can be that big target for us in the redzone, which we need right now. Hes a nasty blocker! I would not be upset at all if we did draft him there, plus we have 2 2nd rounders to fill the d-line and o-line holes.

I wondering, are you a Penn state fan?? You do relise Paul has no chance of being a good 3-4 LB, he is even worse then Vilma at getting off blocks. He is a 4-3 LB for sure.

BOWE had problems holding on to the ball during practice this week but came on thursday .

he has people salivating because he's 6'-2" , he plays big , is physical , blocks well , and can go up and get the ball . he needs to be more consistent catching though . he is being labeled a prtototype west coast end .

at some point it would be nice to get this "type" on the team to round out the receiving corps with Coles and Cotchery who are short .
Once again I'm north-ward bound
