why not sign that guard from b-more instead?
Don't know other than Baltimore thinks he's soft.
I really don't like the way this whole LG thing has unfolded the past week. With Kendall on the team, we had an outside chance to get to the SuperBowl. We'd need luck and a few teams knocking each other off, but I don't think anyone would be shocked if we gained some momentum and actually got there.
With Kendall leaving, we seem to have gone into "building for next year" mode. Put Revis out there, let him make his mistakes, put Bender out there, let him make his mistakes, etc, so next year we'll be a team of young veterans ready to roll.
Which wouldn't bother me that much if that was a decision that was made in the offseason-to sacrifice this year to be strong next year. What I don't like is that the handling of one player made the decision for us. We were thinking possible SuperBowl until Kendall left. If we were serious about trying for a SuperBowl this year, we'd get an experienced LG, you can believe it. Because of the handling of one player, I don't think this team is serious anymore about trying for the SuperBowl this year-we're building for next.
