no way the madden mode was so stupid the OXM made fun of it along with other websites. He said he benched vick to se what would happen and screwed up his whole franchise because vick demanded to be traded and it killed his cap. it also said fabini wanted like 8 mil a year from him then signed with another team for 2. 2K5 gave features like they talked about rookies during the season then you have to go to the combine and scout players which makes it more realistic then gettting a projected rating like madden gives. Also it allows you to set up meeting and workouts and filter them to a postion to improve them before a gaem for instace you can really work your Cbs hard befor a game with the rams and boost them up a few points for the week but if you overwork them they'll lose a few points. i bet u never even pplayed 2k5 to think that. madden knew it was better that why they bought out the competition. every year 2k series cut more and more into the madden sales

You can’t rate real college players of akili smith and tim couch would be 90+. You can’t tell how the’ll do in the NFL. Plus the fact that the players get names and faces is better then a number and a blacked out face with a bogus rating. I used to like madden since 93 on sega genisys but in 2k3 I though they were both even games then after 2k4 I kicked madden out the door and moved on. Until now.

That’s exactly why. I agree with you 100% madden was good ( I loved madden 96 for PS1, its one of my all time favs) but since 2002 its kinda sucked. I have madden 03 and 04 on my modded xbox and they don’t compare to the 2k series. 2K5 is the best football game of all time. I also loved NFL football for the super Nintendo. And the mutant league one was fun for sega. You could actually bribe the ref. anyway madden built a fan base so its hard for a new guy to step in. its the only reason it sells so much

Not to go back on old topic, but the rosters and rankings for madden aren't finalized until the first depth charts come out in july. The new feature is gonna be a passing cone to make the game more realistic, and it look 10% harder than 05. To go along with the 2k5 argument, so many people say 2k5 is better, from a game standpoint, but if you look at it it really isn't. The graphics suck, and there is only a limited amount of stuff you can do with the rosters. My brother, ewokentourage, likes 2k5 but he's dumb

Actually u can do a lot more with the rosters and every single game magazine agrees that the graphics are way better (at least on xbox they are). 2K5 was better in every way except madden had better training mode

the physics ion 2k3 had problems but by 2k5 it was completey fixed. as far as the cone. the best passing feature was total control passing in NFL fever 2004. the game sucked but the passing was really cool. you controlled a target with the right thumbstick then used the right trigger to throw it so you through to a spot. anyway back on topic madden has the worst physics evey. i scored a TD by picking up the ball off my friends back in the endzone? plus a deep post to stallworth will burn u all the time. all they care about in madden is speed. and the DBs jump 10fit in the air
