JerseyJet, the mets are no way the best team in baseball, they would not survive in the AL, NL teams are weak.
Especially the NL east.
Tigers, Redsox, Whitesox are all above the Mets, includeing the Yankees.
Good move to get Abreu though.

we juss dominated atlanta hahaha
and get knocked out first round...i think not
we secured a playoff spot..when the yankees miss the playoffs ill laugh

You will get knocked out of the 1st round becasue once the playoffs come your actually gonna face competitive teams instead of shitty NL East teams. What makes you think you secured a playoff spot its not over till its over and what makes you think were gonna lose a playoff spot if we dont win the division well get wild card but that wont matter because we will win the division. Are lineup is gonna be invisible once sheff and Matsui come back and our pitching is way better than the blowsox.

How can they not get a playoff spot? Their first in the NL East and the closet team to them is 14.5 gb. I don't see the wild card going to the NL East anyway.

Look with the line up you had before the Abreu trade, there is no reason that team shouldn't be 10-15 games up on Boston and the rest of the AL East. It's not all about having the biggest named players. It's about team chemestry. That of which the Yankees lack.
