RetireChrebet Icon : (17 July 2014 - 03:03 AM) My main concern this season is the quarterback play, he or they need to limit turnovers. Simple as that. Also curious to see what we get out of the secondary. If the two aforementioned play decent football this year it should be a very good season.
Mr_Jet Icon : (17 July 2014 - 01:24 PM) Football has been gone so long it feels like the Super Bowl was over a year ago. And we still have about 6 weeks to go before the season starts.
santana Icon : (17 July 2014 - 04:37 PM) I still remember the super bowl very clearly

Nick Saban saw something special in Ricky Williams as a player and as a person. Saban told the Miami media after he left he thought Ricky was worth a few wins on his own.

It's uncertain if Cam Cameron will feel the same, but it's worth that noting that Dolphins GM Randy Mueller traded Ricky once when he ran the Saints. He also wrote about Ricky's eccentricities at length working for ESPN.com. If Mueller stays on as GM, Ricky should go.

Ricky could be worth a fourth-round draft pick and the Dolphins would happily move on with Ronnie Brown. Denver, Houston, Atlanta, and Oakland are all logical fits.

No mention of the Jets in the article, I just thought it was interesting. He did torch the Jets enough times for us all to know that he USED to be a special player. Now he's probably just a 30-year old headache, not to mention he apparently was pretty bad in the CFL (which doesn't necessarily mean anything). I don't know that he'd be worth a fourth rounder with Tangini snagging Brad Smith and Leon Washington there last year. Thoughts?

Actually if you read my post I said I don't agree with it, I just thought it was interesting. I'm sure the jets wouldn't pick him up with Mangini and his philosophies on having high character guys. Either way he's coming back to the NFL next year and wherever he goes he could be good again.
