Jets are doing jets related things also... THE KNICKS.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:49 AM) I wouldn't surprise me if he wasn't viewed as highly next year. College players always get hyped up a year before the draft process. People change their opinions quickly.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:56 AM) I'll put a good amount of money that Bridgewater is still highly regarded coming out next year.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:00 AM) ok I found the chart
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:00 AM) Bridgewater had 0% of his passes go 40+ yards in college
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:02 AM) he could be, I'll wait though
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:02 AM) I doubt Smith will be as bad as Clausen anyways
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:03 AM) I remember watching Clausen in a NFL game and the guy couldn't even throw a spiral.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:03 AM) Geno has been impressing teammates with how well he can spin the ball and sling it.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:31 AM) I hope Geno turns out to be a f***ing monster
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 10:52 AM) andrew luck was hyped up for like 3 years before he entered teh draft
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 11:34 AM) tehhhh
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 11:37 AM) it wasn't for 3 years and Andrew Luck is the best QB prospect to come out in years. Teddy Bridgewater most likely isn't Luck or RGIII
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 11:40 AM) I've only seen Bridgewater play once. That was against Florida, I actually watched that game.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:12 PM) Teddy will be a good NFL QB I think
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Yesterday, 12:52 PM) THE KNICKS
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 01:21 PM) THE. KNICKS.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:43 PM) Geno was the favorite to win the Heisman this time last year
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:44 PM) He was also a Top 5 pick this time last year
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:44 PM) If he came out in 2012, he might have gotten drafted before RG3
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:56 PM) TEH KNICKS
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:25 PM) noway he would have been drafted before RGIII
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:00 PM) Tehhhh
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:12 PM) chuck norris said tebow is a great QB. i'm so conflicted becuase tebow sucks but on the other hand if chuck norris said it, it must be true lol
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:21 PM) Geno was not the favorite to win the heisman going into the year lol
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:21 PM) you don't watch college football, stop
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:23 PM) He might not even of been in the second tier of players
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:25 PM) I've read a ton of articles and all had him as the favorite
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:25 PM) Who was the favorite then?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:27 PM) "Smith was already going to be on most Heisman preseason lists, but a 407-yard, 6-TD performance in the Orange Bowl win over Clemson only solidified him as an elite passer. He can make every throw on the field and has a plethora of talented receivers coming back. Since this team will likely be playing in the Big 12, which has had the uncanny knack for inflating quarterback numbers recently, Smith and head coach Dana Holgorsen are going to leave opposing defenses charred and crippled on most Saturdays."
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:27 PM) That's from a Jan 2012 article
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:27 PM) You can google shit from 14 months ago and find a f*** ton of these
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:29 PM) http://news.yahoo.com/top-10-heisman-trophy-candidates-2012-heading-season-150300441--ncaaf.html
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:31 PM) http://newyork.sbnation.com/2012/8/17/3249284/heisman-trophy-watchlist-2012-las-vegas-betting-odds-line-matt-barkley-montee-ball-denard-robinson
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:32 PM) He was 4th according to Vegas odds in April 2012
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:53 PM) 4th makes him the favorite?
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:53 PM) you said he was the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:53 PM) he wasn't anything near the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:54 PM) he reached his pinnacle in the heisman race in the early part of last season
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:54 PM) at that point he was the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:56 PM) also, what a basketball game
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Yesterday, 10:21 PM) 4 point game
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Yesterday, 10:21 PM) maybe the pacers are that good
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:36 AM) I said that his time last year, he was the favorite. I misspoke. He was 3rd or 4th. He certainly wasn't "not even in the 2nd tier" like you claimed
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:36 AM) Take your medicine Matty
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:36 AM) Maybe you should watch more college football instead of talking about watching college football

Yeah, obviously both him, and Evanstonjet do not belong here on this Jets Message board, or any jets message infact. It is obvious that the fools are not Jets fans, they only come here to bash the team, and the players on the team.

Man you just succesfuly knocked Evanston Jet off the #1 spot of most hated posters lol

What you just did is the equivalent of going to Vatican City and clapping when the Pope died.

You can hate Wayne all you want man, but he is a modern day Jets icon!

The numbers dont mean shit, Keyshawn is a good reciever who made alot of catches, but Wayne made a CAREER of catching 3rd down passes, you know when everyone knows your throwing! Wayne is a legend man so stop the BS!

Oh boy, you look smart, pull out 4 stats that a toddler can find and you call Chrebet a piece of shit. Well you pathetic toddler, where in those stats does it talk about how they played the game???
Listen, it's such an easy equation. Chrebet came into the NFL has an undrafted free agent. The very next year, with the #1 overall pick, we take Keyshawn. Who is your go to receiver, the undrafted free agent making minimum salary, or the multi million dollar #1 overall pick??? Even the toddler knows who, you go to Johnson. So they did. But I don't think you ever grasped the true concept of Wayne's value.
In Keyshawn's 4 years here: He had 305 catches for 4108 yards, a 13.4 YPR, and added 31 TDs as a #1. Started 59 games and played in 62.
In Chrebet's 4 years as his teammate: 266 catches for 3422 yards, a 12.9 YPR, and added 17 TDs as a #2/#3. Started 26 games and played in 64.
Stats show Keyshawn is by far and wide better. No he's not. In half the stats getting probably getting 2 thirds to 3 fourths of the balls Johnson is getting, while starting not even half of the games Johnson did, Chrebet fell 39 catches, 686 yards, half a yard per catch, and 14 TDs short. Now keep in mind, Johnson had 33 more starts, which is 2 seasons worth of starts, so subtract 4 from 33 since Chrebet played in 4 more games you get roughly 29 games. In more 29 games, basically 2 seasons, Chrebet would've definetly posted 30 catches and 686 yards.
Now as for the TDs, it's also easy. Who do ya thrw to in the end zone, a 5-10 guy or the 6-4 guy??? The extra half of a foot will speak for itself.
But now you must ask yourself, how many times was a Chrebet 3rd down catch keeping that drive alive that would later get Keyshawn the TD??? Probably more than once, and that's gotta be a fact, because Chrebet got 379 catches went for a first down, which is 65% of is career receptions total.
Also, how many times did you Chrebet blow his mouth off and insult his teammates??? How many times did he go for the ball even if he knew he wouldn't get it??? Probably 100% of the time. And that's a stat you want every player on your team to have.

I don't care how stupid a post is, or wrong in this case. beach.gif

If someone has another opinion, you argue it with fact and make them look stupid in that way. Please do not resort to childish name-calling.

And for future reference I would never ban another poster for his opinion, but I would for personal attacks.

I don't appreciate the negativity that he is showing to Wayne Chrebet, one of the best Jets receivers in this teams franchise. No one bad mouths my favorite football player ever, especially a bum fat ass like this guy.

Ok, let me just warn everyone that this post will be very nasty, because nobody talks shit about my favorite football player ever and gets away with it....
It is a matter of you shutting the f*** up. You are the most incompetant poster I have ever seen post here. I actually give more respect to evanston then I would for you, because he at least is right at times, you on the other hand are a complete moron.

Ronny, please just ban this guy from the message board, before I really get too abrasive with this fool. One thing before I end this post though. Go to hell you fat f***.

JCBizkit87, you have been and will always be a "jack off"! Your favorite football player was overpaid and did not contribute to the Jets the past 3 seasons other than occupy a locker. He was a brown nose little mama's boy who ran to the coach with every little problem. He and Vinny are probably doing all male porn. Maybe you can join them....fudge packer from way backer!

Ronny, you seriously don't want me to knock this annoying maggot? I would seriously curse this tool the hell out. But, for once I am not going to resort to cursing in my posts.

Listen, dude, please do not call be a jack off, because you have no idea how much I want to kick you in the balls right now. I would hate to tell you, but Chrebet was never an overpaid player in the league. He did so many things for this team. Of his whole career in this league I have only seen this guy make one mistake, and one mistake only. That game in 2002 against the Bears. He was fighting for more yardage, and he fumbled the ball. You cannot name any other thing that he did to hurt our advantage in winning a game. He obviously is a far better man then you will ever be. He was everthing but what you said. He was never there to occupy a locker, as you say. He was there to help us win football games, as was every other single Jet player in that locker room. Please also, tell me when did Wayne ever run to the coach with every single problem. So, dude, why wont you get your negative little bitch attitude the hell out of here, and bother the people at jetsinsider, or ganggreen, I am sure those guys would appreicate you over there.

Get the hell of these forums you tool.
