Jets are doing jets related things also... THE KNICKS.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:03 AM) I used to go to Mets games as a kid with a subway hero
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:04 AM) Now I gotta drop $30 for a burger with fries
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:04 AM) You know what I do? Not go to the fuckin games LOL
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:04 AM) And it's not just me because the Mets suck, Yankees can't sell out anymore at all
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:04 AM) Shit, even Mets vs Yankees wasn't sold out
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:04 AM) That never happened in the 90s
santana Icon : (Today, 12:04 AM) ghetto fries
santana Icon : (Today, 12:05 AM) whats amusing is at nationals stadium the staff is the worst
santana Icon : (Today, 12:05 AM) they don't give a shit
santana Icon : (Today, 12:05 AM) specially sunday morning
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:06 AM) How so?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:06 AM) Do they make you watch the Nationals?
santana Icon : (Today, 12:06 AM) every time they handed me my food or what not then i had to go to the register to pay i just walked away because the queue was too long
santana Icon : (Today, 12:06 AM) people running the registers just go super slow
santana Icon : (Today, 12:07 AM) no one there is in charge of making sure the customers are following the process
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:11 AM) Wait, you pay after you get your food?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:11 AM) How does that even work?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:11 AM) Everywhere you pay when you place your order
santana Icon : (Today, 12:12 AM) well its decided getting some booze tomorrow afternoon and drinking every time i head lebron's head band referenced
santana Icon : (Today, 12:12 AM) like i said the concession stands are a mess
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:12 AM) You might die
santana Icon : (Today, 12:12 AM) there were multiple people behind the counter
santana Icon : (Today, 12:13 AM) so you could just go up to it and ask for what you wanted and 1 out of the 5 people would be on a single register
santana Icon : (Today, 12:13 AM) so eventually you were just handed your food
santana Icon : (Today, 12:13 AM) expecting for someone to approach the register you were standing infront to charge you
santana Icon : (Today, 12:13 AM) or you were led to believe maybe you had to go line up to the one that had a cashier with people already waiting on it
santana Icon : (Today, 12:14 AM) so a lot of the times when i was just handed the food i requested i would stand there look around see them go back to being distracted on their boost mobile phones or whatever reason and walked away
santana Icon : (Today, 12:14 AM) i got 6 pretzels like this for the group i was with and 3 hot dogs
santana Icon : (Today, 12:15 AM) my ticket one time had like 5$ towards concessions or what not their scanner wasnt working at the register so it wasnt reading it right or she didnt know what she was doing. she tried to scan it 3 times then litterally just turned away so i was standing there asking if it was all good no one answered so i just walked away with the food
santana Icon : (Today, 12:18 AM) probably doesn't help that they are hiring people from one of the worst parts of dc
santana Icon : (Today, 12:19 AM) in fact all the stadiums in dc are in very low income areas probably to exploit this work force
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:31 AM) No stadiums are in low income areas because that's how they get municipal bonds to finance construction. "Look, we're giving black people jobs! Pay for our stadium!!!"
santana Icon : (Today, 12:32 AM) right
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Today, 01:48 PM) New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez will face a lawsuit for allegedly shooting a man after an altercation at a Miami strip club.

TMZ.com broke news of this stunning development, as the lawsuit was filed in Florida federal court on Wednesday—five days prior to authorities searching Hernandez's Massachusetts home for an apparently unrelated homicide case.
santana Icon : (Today, 02:41 PM) A well-placed source told Paul Lukas, who writes Uni Watch for ESPN.com, that Revis paid safety Mark Barron $50,000 to get the No. 24 from the second-year safety.
Mr_Jet Icon : (Today, 04:06 PM) I've watched about 3 minutes of ESPN today and have already heard the word "headband" twice.
santana Icon : (Today, 04:13 PM) yea i'm going to get hammered
santana Icon : (Today, 05:29 PM) that left side of japan is no joke
santana Icon : (Today, 05:33 PM) damn that was so karate
santana Icon : (Today, 05:45 PM) http://i.minus.com/iqVziQ4MnbBdg.gif
Chaos Icon : (Today, 06:57 PM) James Gandolfini passed away
Chaos Icon : (Today, 06:58 PM) he was 51, suspected heart attack
santana Icon : (Today, 07:01 PM) I guess that means no soprano movie
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Today, 07:14 PM) he was also a JETS fan
Mr_Jet Icon : (Today, 07:46 PM) That's a surprising death but him dying of a heart attack is not a surprise.

Tannenbaum I think after how this season has been a success so far deserves consideration for Exec of the Year and deserves all the accolades he can get for bringing in Jenkins (Defensive MVP), Pace, Tony Richardson, Faneca, and of course FAVRE, and making the choice to pick Keller, Lowery as Draft Picks...I think Tannebaum is one of the major keys to the JETS success this season...any opinions?

For what he got in the offseason, he paid quite a price, but his gambling nature has certainly been vindicated.

So far he's proven that he who dares, wins.

Mike Tannenbaum is a genius. The Jets front office are proving to be legit, they seem to know what they want. Seriously we went from one of the worst offensive lines in football to one of the best in just a year! Only 2 new starters also. But they are the right guys. Alan Faneca is proving to be a good signing, his run blocking is insanely good. Pass blocking is his negative, but I'll take it with how good of a run blocker he is and his overall leadership and toughness. Damien Woody was the right signing for RT, hes proving to be a good player. His pass blocking is alright, his run blocking is very good. His leadership is also extremely important for this team. When we signed him all I heard from Patriots fans was how lazy and how he sucks. Hes proving them wrong. Now also Brick has improved his game by a large margin, which can be credited to Faneca. But it also can be due to the hard work he has been putting since drafted and the added weight this offseason. Mangold has been amazing this season also, and Moore has been extremely solid.

Everyone of Tannenbaum's moves worked out, his only miss could be on Vernon Gholston. But thats to be determine. But he got the right guy with the other first round pick in Dustin Keller, some wanted a WR. But Keller is proving to be a dangerous weapon and is going to be a big time player for us for a long time!

Now we are seeing the effects of going after the "right" players, players that are hard working and good character. This team is a good character team. There isn't a cancer on it.

Also what 2 moves did for a defense is increditable. Kris Jenkins and Calvin Pace have turned around a weak and pathetic run defense so much. They bring so much more toughness and size to the defense. Both are great against the run. Sure Pace isn't the best pass rusher, but his containment on the outside is amazing. Hes worth the money with how good his overall game is.

Mike Tannenbaum is the GM of the year. I haven't seen a team make this many moves and them all working out, people called us the Redskins, but the difference was the Jets got what they payed for. And they knew what they were paying for.

How true, Tannenbaum is as much a reason this team is in firstr place right now as Favre and Washington and Jenkins are.

His draft picks have been great, he has found late round steals with Rhodes and Washington, took a future Pro Bowler with the first pick with Revis and then the second with Harris, showed some genius by trading up to get Keller even though we already had Baker and Franks on the roster, with Justin Miller sucking again, he took Lowery who stepped in as a rookie and held down the fort which is pretty good for a rookie.

Then he fills some big holes by getting Jenkins from Carolina, signing Pace, and bolstering the O line with Fanaca and Woody turning one of the worst O lines into one of the best, they sign pro bowler FB Richardson and Bubba Franks to help with the blocking with the running game and it has shown, with Thomas leading the AFC in rushing and Washington being a game breaker whenever he gets the ball,

And top it off with convincing Brett Favre to come to NJ when he wanted to go to Minnesota, Favre has turned our Offense into a high scoring machine that we have not seen on this team since Vinny ran the spread Offense here back in the later 90's.

Everything seems to be clicking at the right time, we are alone id first place, just beatr the unbeaten Titans, and Tannenbaum is a major reason why.
