Geno injured, IK cut, Amish Rifle starting - http://nyjetsfan.com...showtopic=38773
ganggreen2003 Icon : (16 August 2015 - 09:20 PM) ok so who thinks geno has played his last game of his JETS career?
ganggreen2003 Icon : (16 August 2015 - 09:23 PM) I honestly think his JETS career is knocked out like that right hand by IK
ganggreen2003 Icon : (17 August 2015 - 08:50 PM) why the hell can't the JETS ever get it right
ganggreen2003 Icon : (17 August 2015 - 08:50 PM) are we doomed for all eternity?
Jetsfan115 Icon : (18 August 2015 - 01:56 PM) kerly might be losing his job to a younger WR
GreenDude Icon : (18 August 2015 - 06:34 PM) We just signed Matt Flynn

santana Icon : (18 August 2015 - 07:02 PM) hype hype hype
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (19 August 2015 - 12:31 PM) Which receiver is Kerley losing his job to?
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (19 August 2015 - 12:31 PM) Kerley is still gonna be our slot receiver. Devin Smith is a outside WR, deep threat and hes gonna be out for a bit.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (19 August 2015 - 12:32 PM) though Brandon Marshall likes playing in the slot at times and does work there
Jetsfan115 Icon : (19 August 2015 - 01:27 PM) he's apparently battling (and losing to) enuiwa
Jetsfan115 Icon : (19 August 2015 - 01:28 PM) enunwa^
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (19 August 2015 - 02:26 PM) I haven't heard about that
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (19 August 2015 - 02:28 PM) I read how kerley has been uncover able one on one

Jetsfan115 Icon : (20 August 2015 - 11:12 AM) sounds like the jets think kerly is too small for what they want
Jetsfan115 Icon : (20 August 2015 - 11:13 AM) if enunwa is our 3rd WR that gives us 3 starting Wrs over 6-2. compared to the 5'7 kerly.
RetireChrebet Icon : (20 August 2015 - 11:32 PM) Hopefully enunwa pans out. The jets need to start catching talent in he late rounds like most successful teams do.
Jetsfan115 Icon : (21 August 2015 - 03:05 PM) MT did for us
MikeGangGree... Icon : (21 August 2015 - 06:49 PM) Well it's only pre season but I don't enjoy watching them walk right over our defense
MikeGangGree... Icon : (21 August 2015 - 07:20 PM) Looks like nothing has changed from the last 5 years. Our offense is still trash
MikeGangGree... Icon : (21 August 2015 - 07:50 PM) Damn petty has a rocket arm!

Smedsthejet Icon : (Yesterday, 11:10 AM) Jets just announced first 12 players to be released:

Smedsthejet Icon : (Yesterday, 11:11 AM) A little surprised that Posey is gone in this first batch of moves, but then we did have a glut of WRs
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:50 PM) Any word on Leonard Williams injury?
azjetfan Icon : (Yesterday, 11:49 PM) He will be ready week 1. Just a sprain

Just read a story of a possible rumor that Donovan McNabb might be traded to the lions for the #2 overall pick. I don't know how to post the link yet. I saw it on AOL sports.

i think that would be a dumb move trading for a 30 year old qb when they can draft brady quinn or demarcus russel who are both much younger then mcnabb

n McNabb to the Lions for Second Overall Pick?
Posted Jan 31st 2007 10:35AM by Michael David Smith
Filed under: Eagles, Lions, NFL Draft, NFL Rumors

Donovan McNabb seems like a nice guy. You'd hate to see something like this happen to him. Getting shipped to the Detroit Lions is like getting sent to Leavenworth. But that's the rumor that's being circulated, both in the Ann Arbor News and in Miami during Super Bowl festivities, that the Eagles could send McNabb to the Lions for the second overall pick in the draft, and in turn use that pick for Notre Dame quarterback Brady Quinn.

McNabb will speak publicly for the first time since his November knee injury today, and he might be asked about the vocal minority of Eagles fans who would like to see him sent packing. We already know McNabb has some gripes. Would the Eagles really want to get rid of him and build the franchise around a rookie?

That seems highly unlikely. The Eagles could be a legitimate Super Bowl contender in 2007, and bringing in a rookie quarterback would be a rebuilding move. The real story here may be how hungry NFL fans are for any kind of information about their teams. The Eagles have been out of it for two weeks, and the Lions have been out of it for six years. Fans of both teams just want to hear something juicy, and McNabb to the Lions definitely fits.

I know the NFL offseason is boring, but do sportswriters get that bored and make something like that up???

Giving the #2 overall pick up would be stupid considering what happened with Culpepper (another QB coming off a big injury) in Miami this year and he was traded for a 2nd rounder. They have a chance at one of Quinn and Russell, most likely Quinn and if they want a franchise QB they should get him instead of trading that pick for McNabb.

You'd be stupid to not draft Brady Quinn and instead try for McNabb. That's absolutely retarded.

Trading Mcnabb for Gracia is dumb dumb dumb. Mcnabb is the face of the franchise. That would be Andy Reed's worst mistake that would eventually lead to him being fired. I'll put dough on it.

Actually trading McNabb for Quinn would be a great deal. McNabb isn't that good of a QB IMO. Although he was lighting it up for my FF team early on, I don't think he's that good. Hell anyone will look good in the NFC East.

And if it's true, I don't think it's for the 2nd pick, i think it's for the 2nd rd. pick. And if that's the case I think the lions got the better deal. With the Wr group and a rb, lions will have to work on the off. lines.

if any team is dumb enough to do it its the lions.

with that said it would also be dumb on the eagles unless they feel garcia is their QB of the present and wait a yera or 2 for jamarcus russel or brady quinn to be ready. personally it makes no sense for either side. mcnabb is a top 5 QB in the league and the egales have a SB chance and need a win now QB. the lions suck and they need young talent to build aorund. if they ake this trade both teams will suffer.
