Tommorrow is the new start to the JETS season...but as New York JETS fans weather or not you grew up in NEW YORK...you have to always remember the dark day in American History...Where were you on 9-11-2001....I was on a Gun Range down in Jacksonville, NC when I heard about the attacks...I will never forget what I was doing, how I heard about it, and what happened that day....9-11-2001 WE WILL NEVER FORGET

i was liveing in NH at the time.i wasnt feeling good so i stayed home that day and i wasdoing my home work and then my father called me up and told me to tur on the TV now.i was shocked and i sat down and sat thare all day.i will never forget that.

I was at school, it was like my 4th day. I was really neverous because I knew my dad was coming home that day and he was flying. Luckly, he didn't leave until later in the day and came home safely a couple of days later. We also had too leave school because we have this Base thing near our school at the time and they where worried it would hit the base and cause a big recetion that could get ourselves killed.

well i know that day we were haveing our water heater worked on and we told that guy and he told us his bro was flying that day.and he was worried if 1 of those planes his bro was on.

i had got home from physical training, and I got a call on the cell, we were told to get our A and B bags and report to the airfield....we sat in traffic for about 5 hours because security was so tight....we all listend to the radio in disbelief......

I had the worst way to find out. I was in tech class, and these to forign kids( I don't like to discriminate, but in this case, I must) were laughing, and one said, "well the terrorist finally did something posotive for america", So I leaned over and said why what happened, and they giggled and told me that 2 planes crashed into the Twin towers and he collapsed, I thought they were kidding, then our teacher kicked them out of the classroom, and then we evactuated school. Only about 5 mins early, but EVERYONE had to leabve

I was at work when my friend emailed me asking if I had heard. I hadn't.
When I got home,I hugged my kids & watched the news. I just sat on the couch w/my kids & watched in shock & cried.

They were suspended(for reasons other than that though), then one of em transfered schools, dunno what happened with him, and the other was kicked out cuz he had drugs in his locker, all that happend between then and april

Bosnia, yea its pretty sick, I played soccer, and I knew one kid on the team, and when we would be warming up, they would all chant, USA..Sucks, USA...Sucks, and it pissed us off pretty much, but we just let it play out, it'll catch up with them one day

I was on a boat travelling from Cyprus to Greece.

We heard via a cell phone call as we left the dock. We had no access to tv for 24 hrs so were in the dark pretty much.

The 5 Brits on board just went to the bar and we drank all day...we didn't know if there'd be a world left in the morning.

Very scarey.

I was in school, it was right before recess (third grade), and I remember sitting, and when we were all gonna go out (it was a beautiful dau) our teacher stopped us. She said something very bad had happened and we were gonna stay indoors.
Everyone swarmed around her, but I figured I'd just ask one of those kids later. I went in line for a drink at the drinking fountain and a friend on mine Billy, went behind me. I asked him what had happened and he said planes had crashed into the Twin Towers, the Pentagon, and in a field in Pennsylvania. I was shocked, because I was the only one who knew about the Towers in my grade at that time, and I was worried if they would fall.
What a horrible day, but the efforts to help, they wee just amazing. I wish I coulda donated blood, I woulda given half of my mine, but I just found a way to give money. At that time, never in such a country was the common stranger as such the common hero, in my mind.

NYers, Americans and any one who has been affected by that gloomy miserable day, Up here in Newfoundland ,Canada such atrosaties are un heard of, yet alone lived, We housed peole from NY when planes were diverted here because of the bombings and thier fore we have been affected aswell, I remember hearing it on the radio about 11:15 am in my work truck and had to pull over and pinch my self to make sure I was hearing right, Me and my family J.J.
