Just saw it on Sportcenter now, that just has bad news all over it. I guarantee he will get the urge again and bitch and moan saying he wants to play again. Thanks Eric

Hey if he does it could be more firepower for a Cutler trade. Favre to browns, Quinn/anderson to broncos, Cutler to jets.

Does he really have the balls to pull this again. just for shits and giggles...does anyone want him back if he does get the itch again? Would he make us better or worse or the same?

I don't know how I'd feel if he tried to return. I'm completely open to the idea of shopping him to the Browns in a three-way trade for Cutler. I'm sure Mangini would want him (didn't he name his son Brett or some craziness like that?).

But what if that's a no-go due to Cutler staying in Denver or something.
Would we take Favre back?
I don't know. I remember how he was tearing it up against the Patriots and the Titans, in the middle of the season. But then there was his late season collapse.

But I think the real question is: Was his collapse due to injury or old age?

If it was due to injury I could accept his return
If old age, show him the door.

Honestly...I hated favre, I mean hated him so much because I felt he single-handedly cost the jets the season. Yes he slowed down...but so did the defensive line that was ranked in the top 2 with sacks mid-season. So did the secondary play...the running game slowed down a tinch too. When did everything start falling apart? My honest opinion after seeing how other teams fared...I think the traveling coast to coast for what the last 4 or 5 games had a major impact on the WHOLE teams performance. Not sure If i posted this or not but the NFL did a little change that will prohibit the East and West teams from that type of traveling in the future.

I think he is done this time...but if he has the "itch" to play again I think I would be ok with it. Of course I want to see what clemens and ratliff do but add favre back into the mix with actual time to learn the system and I think we are better for THIS SEASON. I mean shit...Clemens and or Ratliff are going to be playing a lot of tough defenses next season...

Always question what you read from the media...

..I call bullshit on Eric not wanting Favre here last season

Weren't Eric and Mike T. "tied to the hip" anyway?

Well maybe, but who says Tannenbaum wanted Favre either? If woody tells you to get somebody, you get him.
